FOCUS; GREED & COVETOUSNESS (1 CORINTHIANS 5;11)

1). What are the effective ways of achieving covetousness.(Desiring & snatching what belongs to another)?;

a). MURDER - Through poisoning, Arsonism, Assassination, fighting & witchcraft.

b). False Accusations - (Genesis 39;13-14) Potiphar's wife falsely accused Joseph over defilement after her several failed sexual advancements towards him.

->False accusations are like
a). Defilement.
b). Theft/robbery.
c). Drugs /human trafficking accusations.

c). Manipulation of Justice system.

2). Covetousness can be adopted through/from & can be shared in through;

a). Bad company - covetous friends.
b). Marriage spouse - Or even the family he or she comes from.

3). Covetousness can be inherited by Children - Either they will be victims or they will carry on.

4). Ministers can covet each other's ministries. (1 Kings 13;11-26)

->In the same church/denominational set up; they can lure you into disobedience & rebellion so as to abort your ministry & take your position.

->If they're covetous to your pastor. They can lure you into disobedience, rebellion and disloyalty so as to porch you to themselves. They achieve this through??;

a). Criticizing their ministry & ministrations.
b). Through trying to outshine.
c). Through promising of good ridings & favors.

5). Covetousness can happen through heirs of families.(Genesis 25;28/Luke 12;13-15)

a). First Borns can withhold inheritance that belongs to the other Borns. On excuses like;

->Enmity
->Irresponsibility/Rebellion.
->Wedlock basis (Judges 11;1-2)

b). Favoritism can cause greed & covetousness amongst heirs. Isaac wanted to bless Esau & leave out Jacob.

-> Jacob blessed Joseph with a coat of many colors that provoked envy.

c). When one doesn't grow with their families through helping them; they turn their families into covetous enemies.(1 Timothy 5;8 /Proverbs 3;27)

->They become enemies against your vision & assignment ( ministry/business/ambition)

->They become enemies against your spouse & children or your second wife and their children.
