Today as we commemorate 2 Years since 147 students we killed by terrorists in the Garrisa university attack, ROHO SAFI foundation joined hands with Maseno university to honour the lives of the departed comrades in respect to the spirit of comradeship. It's so sad that we lost 147 bright souls which had go to the institution in search of knowledge, ROHO SAFI foundation sends a message of goodwill to friends, relatives and families of the affect. May the souls of our beloved sisters and brothers rest internal peace.
In line with this ROHO SAFI foundation urges all members of the society to be vigilant with the behaviors and moves of the youths in the society, this comes at a time when the rate of radicalization amongst our youth is overheating day in day out.
Remember;
A terrorist is not a Christian,
A terrorist is not a Muslim,
A terrorist is not a politician,
A terrorist is not an economist,
A terrorist is a terrorist.
An the only way to stop terrorism is by stop radicalization amongst our youths.

I wish to send a strong word of caution to our fellow youth that as we approach 2017 elections, we should be very careful and never again allow ourselves to be hoodwinked by power-hungry politicians who attempt to entice us with empty promises that they will solve all the problems Kenyans face today, as it has always happened.

Such politicians are the cause of the problems we the youth are facing today. They make impractical grand promises just to get our vote. I appeal to my fellow youth not be swept away by political parties who are in the habit of rushing to the press every day offering fast sweet answers and claiming they will solve all our problems.

My message to the Youth of Kenya is, let us listen to all politicians, but let us thoroughly SCRUTINIZE, SCRUTINIZE AND SCRUTINIZE so that we are never cheated again.

Allow me to quote President Barrack Obama for a thought to reflect on today and always .............................................

"I always believe that ultimately, if people are paying attention, then we get good government and good leadership. And when we get lazy, as a democracy and civically start taking shortcuts, then it results in bad government and politics."
