The Deputy Chief Commissioner Alice Kihungi and the National Executive Commissioner Moses Danda paid a Courtesy call on H.E. Moravia Peralta Hernandez, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Kenya.

Key among discussions held included Joint environment conservation initiatives, Youth empowerment programs and International exchange programs for cross-cultural learning and development with the Venezuela Association.

On 11th June 2026: The Deputy Chief Commissioner Alice Kihungi and Chief Executive Officer Moses Danda paid a
Courtesy Call on H.E. Moravia Peralta Hernandez, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Kenya.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between the Scouting movement in Kenya and diplomatic partners while exploring areas of mutual interest that can benefit people in both countries.

Among the key issues discussed were joint tree-planting initiatives aimed at promoting environmental conservation and climate action, while empowering young people to take an active role in protecting the environment through community-led sustainability projects.

Other discussion areas included youth employment programmes and International exchange programs for cross-cultural learning and development with Venezuela Scouts.
