THE ACTING INSPECTOR GENERAL VISITS NPS STAND

This morning, the Ag. Inspector General of the National Police Service Mr. Noor Gabow CBS, OGW, visited the National Police Service stand at the Nairobi International Trade Fair- 2022.

He was accompanied by the Deputy Inspector General- Kenya Police Service Mr. Edward Mbugua CBS, OGW 'ndc' K. They were received and taken round by the Director of Logistics-KPS Mr. Peter Ndung'u S/AIG and the spokesperson- NPS Mr. Bruno Shioso, AIG.

The Ag.IG was impressed with the standards and the expertise showcased by our personnel.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE
Today, the National Police Service joins the world in celebrating the International Day of Peace. This is a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace as declared by the United Nations General Assembly. The theme of this year's global event is, "End racism. Build peace.

As the lead agency in security and safety in Kenya, the NPS has continously played an integral role in domestic and global peace initiatives and missions. Today's theme is a reminder to all Kenyans and the entire world on the immense responsibility and influence we all have in ending racism and promoting peace.

Security is tight at Kasarani ahead of Tuesday inauguration Ceremony

THE LAIKIPIA MULTI-AGENCY SECURITY TEAM OFFERS ESSENTIAL SUPPORT AT OL-MORAN HEALTH CENTRE.

Winston Churchill once said that "healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have". According to the World Health Organization, health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

Ensuring the health and well-being of all is essential in poverty eradication efforts and achieving sustainable development, contributing to economic growth and attainment of peace and security.

In order to promote good health, the Multi-Agency Security team in Laikipia County, yesterday successfully supported the medical staff at Ol-Moran Health Centre and attended to a large number of patients.

The security team also raised health awareness among the community and used the opportunity to forge a stronger, and long-lasting rapport in order to enhance peace and security in the area.⁸

OUR 24-HOUR SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC

Police installations across the country are walk in facilities where clients are given prompt services on arrival. People visit police stations for different reasons. While many visit to report crimes, a few others visit to obtain documents such as Police Abstract, Bond to Attend Court, Summons and Medica Report Forms (P-3).

In the spirit of Police-Public partnership, some clients may visit to share confidential security information. They may also want to surrender or claim lost and found property.

The Report Office and Enquiry Desk boasts of the ever-present highly trained and professional police officers who are deployed to record reports and direct clients to respective sections. Gender is a consideration when assigning duties to this section to allow clients the freedom to share gender sensitive-matters to a police officer they are can trust.

Report office personnel will listen to your report, note it down in the Occurrence Book (OB), issue an OB number while guiding you to the next processes.

The National Police Service has digitized most its systems and police documents are downloaded from the National Police Service website. All you have to do is present the downloaded forms to your nearest police station to have them filled and stamped.

The Medical Report Form (P3) and Police Abstract forms are the most sought for documents in police stations across the country. These two documents and several others available at police stations across the country are issued free of charge.
