Parineetii: Tonight's (Mon 18/5) Episode Summary

The episode opens with a disturbing nightmare inside Neeti’s mind. Consumed by rage and betrayal, Neeti imagines herself forcing Rajeev (Sanju) and Parineet to marry again in front of the entire family. In a heartbreaking outburst, she ties the gathbandhan herself and bitterly declares that everyone already knows the truth except her. She accuses the Bajwa family of hiding Rajeev and Parineet’s relationship, betraying her trust and pretending innocence while keeping her in darkness. Neeti mockingly questions Parineet: if she could secretly marry Sanju before, why hesitate now? She forces them to take pheras while Rajeev desperately tries calming her down. The family watches helplessly as her pain turns into madness. In the chaos, she accidentally pushes Gurinder. Just as the nightmare reaches its peak... Neeti suddenly wakes up. The sequence reveals her deepest fear: that Parineet and Sanju still belong to each other emotionally.

Soon after, Mehra arrives with shocking news: all charges against Sanju have been dropped. The family is overwhelmed with relief. But the biggest revelation comes next: Parineet is the reason Sanju was saved. Mehra explains that Parineet personally came to his office, proved Sanju was on leave because of Neeti’s health and suggested that someone else used poor-quality materials and framed him. Her arguments pushed Mehra to reopen the investigation eventually exposing the truth. For the first time openly, the entire family witnesses Parineet’s intelligence, courage and loyalty.

As praise pours onto Parineet, Neeti silently burns inside. The humiliation becomes worse when Tao Ji praises Parineet’s wisdom, Monty calls her perfect and Gurinder apologises emotionally and hugs her, even Sanju proudly admires her qualities. Then comes the moment that crushes Neeti internally: Mehra jokingly says he wishes he had a daughter-in-law like Parineet. Neeti cannot bear it anymore. In frustration, she accidentally drops Mehra’s phone and quietly walks away. Later in her room, her pain explodes. She breaks objects while crying uncontrollably and saying nobody values her anymore – she feel like a stranger in her own house

Bebe takes advantage of Neeti’s fragile state. Instead of calming her, she slowly poisons her mind further. She tells Neeti everyone in the family now prefers Parineet, that Parineet is slowly taking away her husband, her family and her position in the house. Most dangerously, Bebe advises Neeti not to attack emotionally anymore but strategically. She says: instead of harming Parineet physically, remove her from the family forever.

Despite everything, Parineet continues defending Neeti. When Chandrika points out the uncomfortable truth that both women are technically Sanju’s wives, Parineet immediately silences her and insists Sanju truly loves Neeti as he publicly married her. Neeti is only stressed because of her health complications. Even after constant insults, Parineet still prioritises Neeti’s emotional wellbeing.

Elsewhere, Monty reminds Sanju that he should thank Parineet properly. Gurinder admits feeling guilty for mistreating her. She says Parineet supported the family in every crisis despite receiving only pain in return. For perhaps the first time, the family openly acknowledges that Parineet has sacrificed more than anyone. This emotional recognition further deepens Neeti’s fear that she is losing her place.

Late at night, Parineet quietly remembers happier memories with Neeti. Parminder notices her sadness and comforts her like a mother. Parineet finally confesses her real fear, that Neeti is changing. She says the cheerful, loving Neeti she once knew is disappearing. Parminder reassures her that God will never break their bond and reminds her that goodness never goes unrewarded.

But the episode leaves behind an ominous feeling: While Parineet is desperately trying to save her relationship with Neeti… Neeti is slowly preparing to destroy hers.
