The DR Hub offers affordable alternative dispute resolution services to Kenyans across several counties and seeks to empower and upskill ADR practitioners with specialized training.

This past Friday, we took part in the 2nd Mediation Trainers Breakfast Meet-Up, hosted by the ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED MEDIATORS (ACM). The discussions centered around how best to make the mediation space bigger and better through proper training mechanisms.

This past Saturday, we completed a 5-day training on Online Dispute Resolution where we upskilled 38 participants in such topics as role-plays, preparing for virtual sessions, upcoming trends, how to build their rate cards among others!

They were awarded Certificates thereafter, and it was a fruitful training overall!

In May, we will hold our Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Training.

Thank you to all of you who have registered thus far!

This Training is geared towards teaching us how to successfully conduct Mediations via various virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, just to name a few, the pitfalls and advantages thereof, as well as additional topics that will be shared with you in due course.

Kindly note that this is the ONLY FREE ODR Training for the year.
A Certificate of Participation will be issued to those who attend a minimum of 4 out of 5 classes.

Additionally, members who have successfully done the Training within the course of the past 3 years should register to undertake the Refresher Class on Tuesday 9th May 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

This Training will have 4 Online Classes and 1 Physical Class, which will take place on Saturday 13th May 2023.

This past Saturday, we help a successful Co-Mediation Workshop, where our skilled Mediators learnt what Co-Mediation is, cases where it's applicable, expectations of Co-Mediators as well as Role-Plays where they applied the knowledge acquired.
