We're seeing a lot of false news circulating about CrowdStrike. It's understandable this was a big mess and caused collateral damage, but here are some major core facts to the solution and situation:

1. The software supports Linux, Mac and Windows.
2. It DOES NOT come pre-installed, so this won't magically be a problem for all supported operating systems globally.
3. The remediation process is actually pretty simple, the problem is the scale of which the remediation must be done (including respective internal processes for roll backs)

We encourage everyone to stop circulating false images, even as joke. It's unprofessional and causing extra unintended damaged to CrowdStrike financially and to the company reputation.

Bushido Tech does not use this solution, nor do any of our clients, however, we want to educate both our clients and the world of how quickly a silly modified image(s) or AI generated image(s) can mislead the narrative when circulated through media based platforms.

An interesting series from 2011 called "person of interest" portrayed a system capable of predicting human behavior to analyze individuals that could be potential national threats. The flip side was the system could also predict general threats to and from all persons monitored.

Looks like the movies (or series) are not always a joke or a far fetched concept.

Thankfully this concept is focused at making you being monitored more secure and anonymous, but it's enough to give you an idea of how far down the rabbit hole this technology already is.
