In the design below, when the woman looks at the camera, visitors look at the woman. When the woman looks at the headline, visitors look at the headline and that is where you want the focus to be.

Photos give you an opportunity to guide the visitors attention.

Faces are uniquely powerful imagery, in this design your attention will instinctively be drawn to the human image before you notice the other two images, even though the face is positioned last.

The famous case study by Basecamp showed a huge lift in results when faces and testimonials were combined on a sales page.

Your website should be more human.

How is life as a designer in Kenya?

Here, designers seldom want to see Devs for obvious reasons. Designers may find themselves in their final moments of a workday, yet they may be assigned an urgent task. Fortunately, they are duly compensated for the additional hours they put in.

This is Williams Addison Dwiggins, he the coined the word “graphic design” in 1922.
