My heart is shattered π
Just a few hours ago, everything was perfect⦠laughter, good vibes, nothing out of the ordinary. It was one of those moments you wish you could pause and live in forever.
Then in the blink of an eye, everything changed. Joy turned into chaos, and now I canβt even stop crying.
I still canβt wrap my head around how such a beautiful day ended like this. One minute we were all fineβ¦ the next, it was panic.
I can still hear my cousinβs voice ringing in my ears, βNo please, noβ¦ hold it, hold it!β
I tried⦠God knows I tried. But it was too late.
Right before my eyes⦠it slipped.
Our only bottle of red wineβ¦ gone. π₯Ήπ·

SHE MESSED UP COZ OF HER LOW EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
In the humble town of Machinga, nestled next to the bustling highway, lived Maingo β a simple, hardworking guy with a heart of gold β€οΈ. He worked tirelessly at the local garage, fixing trucks and bikes, his hands stained with grease but his smile brighter than the Kenyan sun βοΈ. Maingo had eyes for Prax, the prettiest girl in town, who worked at the nearby boutique, fluntin' the latest fashion trends ποΈ.
Prax was a firecracker β confident, sassy, and always lookin' like a million bucks πΈ. Makeup artist? More like a magician π§ββοΈ. She'd transform herself from day to night, and Maingo was hooked π. They'd stroll down the highway, hand in hand, with Prax laughin' like the stars had aligned β¨.
Their love was the stuff of town gossip β the handsome mechanic and the gorgeous boutique queen π. Maingo would surprise Prax with flowers and sweet nothings, and she'd swoon π. But beneath the surface, Prax was different. She'd often joke about 'levelin' up', and Maingo would laugh it off, thinkin' she was just teasin' π.
But Prax was dead serious π. One day, she dropped a bombshell β she wanted more, said Maingo wasn't 'enough' π. The L-word wasn't enough, the flowers weren't fancy enough, and the small-center life? Forget it π. Maingo was shattered π. He'd thought they were buildin' somethin' real π€―.
Prax claimed she was 'beautiful' and deserved 'better', but Maingo saw through the facade πββοΈ. The heavy makeup, the designer labels, the 'tude β it was all just a cover πΈ. He shook his head, thankin' God she'd left π. 'Better' wasn't what Prax needed; what she needed was a wake-up call π₯.
As the dust settled, Maingo went back to his garage, back to fixin' bikes and smilin' π. He'd catch glimpses of Prax, now fluntin' her 'new' life on socials, and he'd chuckle π€£. The highway still bustled, the town still hummed, and Maingo? He was movin' on π.
Prax's 'standards' had blinded her to what was real π. Maingo, on the other hand, realized he dodged a bullet π£. He'd rather be simple and real than fake and 'high-status' π. The town whispered β Maingo was better off πͺ.
As for Prax? Well, she's still tryin' to find someone who sees past the makeup πββοΈ. Maingo? He's just livin' life, wackin' the dust off, and smilin' brighter than the highway lights π¨.
Months went by, and Prax's socials went quiet π°οΈ. Rumor had it she was preggo ποΈ. Yep, she was havin' a son, and the 'better' guy? Gone π. Now Prax was facin' the reality β she'd traded a good man for a ghost π». Maingo heard the news and just shook his head, sympathizin' π.
Prax sat alone, cradin' her bump, and for the first time, she saw past the makeup πββοΈ. Regret was a bitter pill π. She'd lost the one guy who truly saw her β Maingo. Now her son'd grow up without a dad like him π. Prax whispered, "I messed up..." π.
