Happy World Radio Day
This year's theme is 'AI is a tool, not a voice'.
As we mark this year's World Radio Day, how is AI enabling you to be a better Radio presenter and or reporter?
With AI, it is possible to script, transcribe, edit audio, programme, translate and engage audiences at great speed and accuracy.
AI is an enabler. Learn an AI skill this year.

STOP TARGETING OUR STUDIOS
Meru photographers stage a peaceful demonstration at Meru Police Station to protest the rising cases of burglary and theft targeting photo studios in Meru Town.

THE MERU PRESS CLUB members joined Meru Photographers Association in a peaceful protest against rising burglary and theft targeting photo/video studios in Meru town.
It is alarming that the theft being orchestrated by an organised gang since 2022, remains unattended by the police.
In the recent past, more than five studios have been broken into and equipment worth millions stolen.
Reports made to the police remain unattended.
We later presented a petition to North Imenti Deputy County Commissioner and the Kenya Police Service Commander.
This a call for protection of livelihoods!
