Our own Snaida Mokaya crossed the whitewash for the Kenya Lionesses, but her try was not enough to inspire a comeback as Kenya fell 38-20 to South Africa in the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup last Sunday.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our scrumhalf Michelle Alivitsa, who sadly left us today at 1:00 AM while receiving treatment.
Mitchell was more than a teammate, she was a sister, a friend, and a valued member of the Mwamba RFC family. Her passion, commitment, and presence both on and off the field will forever remain in our hearts.
On behalf of the entire Mwamba Rugby Football Club fraternity, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, teammates, and all those whose lives she touched during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Michelle.
