Destiny Ink Publishers mourns the heartbreaking loss of our beloved young author, Millicent Ogamba, co-author of Let Me Breathe — a gifted soul whose passion for storytelling, resilience, and quiet strength touched everyone privileged to walk alongside her journey.

Millicent was more than an author under the Destiny Ink mentorship; she was a bright light filled with promise, determination, and purpose. Her dedication to the craft of writing reflected not only her talent but also her deep desire to inspire, heal, and leave meaning through words. Through Let Me Breathe, she courageously shared a voice that will continue to echo in the hearts of readers and remind us of the power of stories to awaken compassion and hope.

As a young writer, Millicent embraced learning with humility and commitment. She carried dreams that extended beyond pages, believing in the impact literature could have on lives and communities. Her growth, discipline, and warmth made her deeply cherished within the Destiny Ink family.

Today, we join her family, friends, readers, and all whose lives she touched in mourning an irreplaceable loss. While her passing leaves an indescribable void, we choose also to celebrate a life of purpose, creativity, and courage — a life that, though brief, mattered profoundly.
