Some people were not taught to be intercessors. Circumstances of life and spiritual anger forced them into it. Like why should things continue to fail, like why should immature death continue to rule and you know well, it ain't the will of God. This is a different breed, breed without greed, breed without pride. Sometimes broken to the core. They realise dying to self is key, dying to what life calls good; to desires, to pleasures of life. It is terrifying to explain to the others the battles you're entangled with, where the devil has deep roots, but then you realise the journey to thus far was meant for days like those. Dethroning and enthroning. You know this is the real life. Ruling in the spirit.

My friend when the spirit of God says pray just yield. A one hour prayer can avert a 10 years struggle, I have realized a 30 minutes prayer can avert a day of disappointments and wrangles. The battle will be won even before the fight for sure. In some case you might have to fight, but it won't be lethal and there will be no casualties, like in the case of David, while in some other case you'll not have to fight. The angels will do the work for you. Somebody might be pushed to fight for you. All you'll need to do is praise and glorify God. Some of us were preserved by the efforts of forces we did not see or know about. Just be spiritually vigilant.

Seeing that one day we will give account of what we did with what was entrusted onto us bothers me much. What failed in our hands that wasn't supposed to. When we celebrated instead of crying for things to change. When we let feelings win instead of being led by His spirit because that was the plan when he made us. *John chapter 17* is 50% prayer and 50% account of the perfect man and our role model who walked on this earth. What will we say when find ourselves there? What account will we give on our deathbed when all we have known is live, and just live before we leave, for life is for the living? Did we live for Him. God help us.

The cry of desperate men
_______________________________________

Have you ever reached that time in life whereby you've to cry with all desperation you can, "Thou son of David, have mercy on me". Because actually you've no name. They've know to identify you with your infirmity, 'Blind Bartimaeus'. You've an identity through your infirmity. It only calls for a desperate and tired person to cry out in desperation for mercy. The Bible says we received a spirit not of slavery, but of liberty that has led to our adoption in the beloved and thus we cry out , ABBA father. Abba father is the father of mercies. We have been called to approach the mercy seat with boldness that we may receive grace.

"Oh master, cares not that we are perishing" is a cry of desperate men, who have realized and acknowledged their weakness and they know, apart from the master they've no other help.

God's plan of restoration

Case study: Peter
__________________

You know oftentimes I think about Peter. Peter was the leader of the disciples. He was the most vibrant of the disciples and always ready to undertake the mission as Jesus commands and that's where he won the devil's attention. Peter denying Jesus wasn't a coincidence. It was determined because he was vulnerable to the attack of the devil because of the mission on his shoulders.

Peter is like any villain who has known only to catch fish and earn living by that, but then Jesus comes to introduce him to something else, far different from that, in as much as He tried to equate fishing fish to fishing people.

Even with Peter having followed Jesus and became his best friend, he finds Himself denying to know Him. The very person he said he would die for. Though he did die, later along, but on this occasion fear enclothed him because he wasn't as strong. The holy spirit had not yet being revealed.

What I love most in the whole story is Jesus' determination to win peter back. He even sents the letter, "to Peter and the disciples..." When Jesus appears by the sea side, and boys had gone back to what they knew better, and he helps them catch a net breaking harvest, Peter leaves the fish and runs to Jesus.

I bet Peter wants to explain himself, "like master you know, it wasn't what you think..." But Jesus Jesus sends him back, go bring the fish. I have no problem with what you're doing (John 21:5- he calls then children). Jesus, comes to impart his guy. A one on one that changes everything. This God!!

Sometimes we are faced with battles and we keep on wondering, "why us, why me.." it is supposed to be you because of who you are, not what you'll be, *you are already it* just that you've not worked it out to manifest. It was always in you. Those small small revelations prove it.

Those days Peter would say that Jesus was the son of God, He had the words of life, proved it. You're not like them. may be all that is required of you is to run to Jesus and mend with Him. Slay your ego and pride. No one is too lost to be found. Give yourself to consecration. God wants sons.

You know what faith entails, faith also entails stopping praying for it and starting to execute with what you have. Faith also entails stepping out even when the path is not clear. When doubt is trying to win, but because you don't walk in the flesh you don't let it win. Stepping out nevertheless because you're a carrier of God. Starting with what you have and believing God for a miracle and a multiplication. You can't dwell in the ordinary and normalcy and expect extra ordinary. Comfort zone is the enemy of progress because therein there's no progress.

The mighty men of David
_________________________________

I was reading the Bible then I came across this story talking about the 3 mighty men of David in 2Samm 23. What caught my eyes is these two men, Eliezer son of Dodo and Shammah. In their CV I know they would quote this, that at a time Eliezer and his fellow soldiers went to battle against the Philistines and everyone ran away, bro was left alone and he fought and killed them single handedly until the sword became one with his hand. He was weary but he couldn't stop. Same way as Shammah, everyone ran away but He stood his ground. Their stories are two separate occasions, but same outcome. God stood with them when everyone ran away.

As long as you're running the right course and you're sure of God's approval, stand your ground, you can't die there. Stop complaining about every other person who ran away. We couldn't know about Shammah standing alone to protect a lentil piece of land if his partners didn't leave him. May be we could not have heard about Eliezer if the other soldiers had not ran away. God is looking for a ready vessel. It doesn't matter who you're, or where you come from, the courage to stand your ground is what matters. He will receive the glory and you will be established. Stop complaining , stop excuses. You, yes youđŸ«”, you're the man for the job.

Sometimes it doesn't work, but do you know what counts? Our resilience.😊

What is there to rejoice for, in this world if we don't carry your testimony? And when time comes we may be able to stand before you as faithful servants who have walked the journey. When the walking was tough and we had to endure but we kept on, not cutting corners to have the testimony uncorrupted. Then you'll call us faithful servants, not just because of what we gave, not just because of how we lived, but also because of how were able to stand for you when it mattered most, like Elijah. Not out of hypocrisy, not out of pretence, but with our life being a true testimony of what it means to stand for you and keep the testimony uncorrupted to the end.

*Whispers from Mwinyi Ali Café*

Part 11

~~ Lessons and Resolutions ~~

Days turned into weeks, and the ache in Liam’s heart gradually began to transform; not into joy, but into something deeper: understanding. First he began by forgiving Zuri and then understanding her choice because he knew, he had to.

He sat quietly at his table one evening, the same spot where he used to write love notes, poetry, and school assignments. This time, he opened a fresh document and titled it *“What Love Taught Me”*. He decided to write; not to forget Zuri, but to understand the journey they had walked together.

Six months of prayer, love, joy, struggle, confusion, and later heartbreak could not be buried in silence. Writing became his balm. With every word, he emptied pain and poured healing. He reflected on what he had learnt: patience, surrender, letting go, and holding onto God when everything else fails.

He wrote about love, not just the romantic kind; but love that chooses to forgive, love that matures through loss, and love that doesn't end when a chapter does.

By the time he typed the final sentence, Liam wasn’t the same. He wasn’t fully healed, but he was no longer broken. His heart still remembered, but now it also hoped that one day, probably one day he'd find a person that understood him and loved him the way God had willed. A person he'd walk into destiny with. A person who would be ready to help him fight the battles of Elohim willingly, one who would embrace the process and the project.

He hoped that when finally another Zuri comes would stay forever. But until then, he vowed to work on every loophole that send her away and build himself for what he prayed for. He summoned all his nerves to work. For the years he had to, he didn't know but he'd have to, even if it was 3,5,10.. he was ready for the price.

With a silent prayer, he closed his laptop, stood up, and whispered to the night,
"Some stories don’t end in together, but they still end in growth."
