This week, we welcomed Cohort 5 of the Nia Upeoni – Kujenga Njia Fellowship Programme for a 2-day in-person induction workshop.
Rooted in systems thinking, reflection, dialogue, and action-based learning, fellows explored complex social challenges, reflected on their leadership journeys, and engaged deeply with the practice of building collective pathways for change.
Drawing from the spirit of Kujenga Njia — “building the road together” the induction created space for courageous conversations, shared learning, and community-rooted leadership across lived experiences and contexts.

It is leadership grounded in responsibility, practice, and collective action.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day, a moment to honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere.
Beyond the celebration, it’s a reminder of the quiet determination many women carry each day: showing up, building, learning, supporting others, and breaking barriers in spaces that were not always built for them.
To every woman pursuing her goals, finding her voice, and creating opportunities for others along the way, your work matters.
Keep growing.
Keep showing up.
Keep becoming.
Happy International Women’s Day.
