Lions Football Club confirms the departure of Ugandan midfielder Joseph Mwenyi following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

We are grateful for his dedication, commitment, and valuable contribution to the Pride during our historic debut FKF Division One campaign.

Thank you for everything, Joseph. We wish you nothing but success and the very best in your next chapter.

Lions Football Club mourns the passing of veteran coach Juma Abdallah, who has sadly departed following a courageous battle with illness.

Coach Juma was a respected tactician whose influence extended far beyond the professional game. Through his work in grassroots football, he mentored, guided, and inspired countless young talents to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, former clubs, players, and the entire Kenyan football fraternity.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and give his loved ones strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Lions Football Club can confirm the departure of goalkeeper Dut Mayen following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Dut was an important member of the squad during our historic debut FKF Division One campaign, and we sincerely appreciate his commitment, professionalism, and contribution to the Pride.

We wish you continued success and all the very best in the next chapter of your football journey.

🔄 | One of the moments that will forever remain etched in our memories from our debut season was our remarkable journey in the Mozzart Bet Cup.

Despite enjoying a strong campaign in the FKF Division One Zone D, we also made a memorable run in the cup competition, reaching the Round of 16 after a hard-fought victory over Gucha Youth FC at home.

That triumph earned us a place on one of the biggest stages in Kenyan football, where we faced Kenya Premier League side KCB FC at the iconic Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.

Although our journey came to an end with a 3-0 defeat, the experience was one we will never forget. From battling through the qualifying rounds to sharing the stage with one of the country's top-flight sides at Kasarani, it was a historic chapter in our debut season.

The result may not have gone our way, but the journey, the experience, and the memories will forever remain part of the Lions' history.

A journey to remember. A chapter that will never be forgotten.

One of the promising young talents who was part of the Lions FC squad during our historic debut FKF Division One campaign.

Dan Manasseh made his senior debut against KCB FC in the Mozzart Bet Cup at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi, coming off the bench and marking an important milestone in his football journey.

He later completed the full 90 minutes against Webuye Sportiff and also featured from the bench against Green Snipers FC. Dan was also named among the matchday squad for our home fixtures against Muhoroni Youth FC and Sigalagala Polytechnic FC.

A season of valuable experience, growth, and important lessons for the young talent.
