Little is known about Titanic’s more seasoned and goofier sister. The Olympic. She was the lasting survivor of the ill-fated clan of ships.

Olympic had a long and prosperous career, yet spent a lot of it disappointing others who had dared to crush her. Olympic is more like the honey badger of ships.

She crushed the HMS Hawke, Italian St. George, and Nuntucket among others...

Olympic was temporarily used as a troop transport during the First World War. However, she craved blood! The liner made a sharp turn and ran over a German U-boat that was attempting to torpedo her during one.......

The economy was the only thing that could stop this oceanic maniac, not nature or the laws of physics. During the depression, Transatlantic Travel Group took a big hit, and Olympic was scrapped because she couldn’t keep up with more advanced and effective liners. For the past 24 years, she had terrorized the oceans.

It’s a disgrace actually that of Titanic and her two sisters, the greater part of us are comfortable just with the less fascinating one.

To add to this.
There’s the story of Violet Jessop.
She was a stewardess and nurse.

She was on board the Olympic when it crashed into the Hawke.
This must have spooked her, because she decided to transfer to the Titanic.

She survived that whole iceberg debacle, but must have thought “What are the odds that I’ll be on three ships of the same class that crash into things”

So for World War 1, she signed on the Britannic- which had transformed into a floating hospital for wounded soldiers.
Which then hit a mine and sank.

She survived that too. Cheated death three times. She was nicknamed "The Queen of Sinking Ships" or "Miss Unsinkable"

She wrote a memoir and lived to be 83. What a life!

Me: Hi Mom, I’m here to interview you. Unusual answers only. Okay, Can you tell me what you do for a living?

Mom: Sure, honey. I’m a professional procrastinator. I put off everything until the last minute and then panic and stress out.

Me: Wow, that sounds like a very challenging job. How do you manage to do it?

Mom: Well, it’s not easy. It takes a lot of skill and talent to avoid doing anything productive. I have to constantly distract myself with social media, online shopping, Netflix, and napping.

Me: Fascinating. And what are the benefits of being a procrastinator?

Mom: Oh, there are many benefits. For example, I get to experience the thrill of adrenaline rush when I have to finish a task in a short time. I also get to be more creative and spontaneous, since I don’t have time to plan or think things through. And I get to lower my expectations and standards, so I’m never disappointed with the results.

Me: I see. And what are the drawbacks of being a procrastinator?

Mom: Drawbacks? There are no drawbacks. Procrastination is the best way to live your life. Why do something today when you can do it tomorrow? Or the day after tomorrow? Or never?

Me: Hmm, interesting. And how do you balance your work and your personal life?

Mom: Balance? What balance? There is no balance. My work is my personal life, and my personal life is my work. I don’t have time for anything else. Except for this interview, of course.

Me: Well, thank you for your time, Mom. You’ve been very insightful and helpful.

Mom: You’re welcome, sweetie. Anytime you need me, just let me know. But not right now, because I have something very important to do.

Me: What is it?

Mom: Nothing.
