Reports claiming former Limuru MP Peter Mwathi was arrested on Thursday evening over the violence at a funeral in Limuru, Kiambu County, are false.

It has now emerged that Mwathi went to a woman’s house where he has been since Thursday evening.

If Mwathi has, indeed, been arrested, he, his family and co-planners of the chaos should name the police station where he is being held.

The only reason his wife and fellow Gachuaguaists are attempting to exploit the Limuru violence for political mileage can only mean they orchestrated it.
