JOSA's latest workshop focused on OSINT, a core capability in modern cybersecurity, enabling analysts to collect, analyze, and validate publicly available data for investigations and threat intelligence.

This hands-on workshop, led by Hashem Al-Salhi, introduced structured OSINT methodologies, practical tooling, and real-world workflows, with a focus on ethical and legal considerations. These techniques were applied through guided exercises and a final challenge, turning raw open-source data into actionable intelligence relevant to incident response and security operations.
