Le style de Basma Omar mêle grunge, bohème et chic, le tout encapsulé dans un esprit androgyne. Les racines qu’elle a au Liban l'ont confronté à une grande synergie artistique arabo-européenne. Ses voyages en Europe et sa découverte des différentes cultures donnent à ses créations un côté pratique et « subjectivement » universelles.

Elle a une vision originale du East-meets-West, ce qui se reflète par une expression simple et parfois crue dans ses créations.

Basma a un baccalauréat en design graphique, et obtient son diplôme en modélisme du Burgo Italian Institute of fashion à Amman, en juin 2014.

Elle a lancé sa marque Random|overload et travaille aujourd’hui à l'Atelier Afifa à Amman.
