Discover the untouched beauty of Northern Jordan! Our recent FAM trip to Yarmouk Lodge was a powerful reminder of the "hidden gems" that define our heritage.
From the lush trails of the Yarmouk Forest Reserve to an incredible local feast at Loof Restaurant, every moment celebrated the authentic spirit of the North.
Getting hands-on at Beit Al Baraka. There is something deeply moving about learning the art of basket weaving and stone masonry directly from the keepers of our local traditions.
A massive thank you to Yarmouk Lodge and Beit Al Baraka for their hospitality and for showing us the heart of Jordanian storytelling.
Our participants were blown away by the stunning views, expert hiking guide, amazing local food and the meaningful connections that made this trip truly unforgettable.

عقدت الجمعية الأردنية للسياحة الوافدة يوم الأحد الموافق 3 أيار 2026 اجتماع الهيئة العامة غير العادي في مقر غرفة تجارة عمّان، برئاسة السيد نبيه ريال رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية، وبحضور أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، وعدد كبير من أعضاء الهيئة العامة، بالإضافة إلى المستشار القانوني للجمعية ومندوب عن وزارة السياحة والآثار.
كما حضر جانباً من اللقاء السيد بهجت حمدان نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة تجارة عمّان، حيث تحدث عن أوجه الدعم والتعاون المشترك ما بين الغرفة والجمعية، مؤكداً أهمية تعزيز الشراكة بين مختلف الجهات الداعمة للقطاع السياحي بما يخدم مصلحة الاقتصاد الوطني والقطاع السياحي الأردني
وشهد الاجتماع إقرار تعديل النظام الأساسي للجمعية بما بحيث تم السماح للفنادق بالانضمام كأعضاء عاملة في الجمعية وكأعضاء في مجلس الإدارة، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز التكامل والتعاون بين مختلف مكونات القطاع السياحي.

و تم خلال اللقاء مناقشة عدة أمور ومواضيع من شأنها المضي قدماً في تطوير قطاع السياحة الوافدة وتعزيز مكانة الأردن السياحية، إلى جانب استعراض عدد من الشراكات والاتفاقيات التي تم عقدها مع الملكية الأردنية وعدد من الجهات والمؤسسات المعنية ، بما يسهم في دعم القطاع وتنشيط الحركة السياحية خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

JITOA Newsletter - April 2026 To the builders, the creators, the caretakers, and the dreamers—today is all about you. We honor the endless hard work that drives our world forward.

The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) Board, headed by Vice Chairman Mr. Awni Kawar, together with Ms. Yasar Malhas, JITOA Board Member, Mr. Ayman Abd Alkarim, JITOA Board Member, and Ms. Lama Mahadeen, Executive Director of JITOA, held a productive meeting with the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Sweden in Amman, Mr. Anton Krögerström, and his team to explore opportunities for collaboration and discuss future initiatives aimed at promoting Jordan as a leading tourism destination.
The meeting was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, during which both sides exchanged ideas on potential joint efforts to enhance Jordan’s presence in the Swedish market and support sustainable tourism growth.
JITOA’s Vice Chairman stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships with international stakeholders, highlighting Jordan’s diverse tourism offerings and its readiness to receive an increased number of visitors from Sweden. Mr. Krögerström expressed his interest in maintaining close coordination and building long-term cooperation that contributes to the continued development of the tourism sector.
Moreover, both sides discussed the exchange of familiarization trips involving tour operators and media representatives to further promote Jordan in the Swedish market. Further meetings are expected to take place in the near future to build on the positive outcomes of this meeting.

وقّعت الملكية الأردنية مذكرة تفاهم مع جمعية السياحة الوافدة، انسجاماً مع استراتيجية الناقل الوطني الهادفة إلى دعم وتنشيط السياحة الوافدة إلى المملكة.
وقد وقّع الاتفاقية كلٌّ من كريم مخلوف رئيس القطاع التجاري في الملكية الأردنية، ونبيه ريال رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية، بحضور ممثلين عن الجانبين.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى تنفيذ حملات تسويقية مشتركة، وتنظيم جولات ترويجية (Roadshows)، وتعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين أعضاء القطاع بما يسهم في استقطاب المزيد من السياح إلى المملكة ودعم القطاع السياحي الوطني.
