Anna Glass created a dinner series called The Blue Kitchen Dinner in Delft, The Netherlands. In the October 2025 edition, LeAnna was a collaborator and guest chef. The two food designers created a dinner called The Soup Séance to welcome the season of Autumn. Anna transformed the space by thinking about movements, textures, and interactions. She brought guests together as if we were all ingredients and her apartment was one big soup pot. LeAnna reimagined the possibilities of flavors and how a dish can evolve throughout eating.
We celebrated the changing season by gathering around an interactive table with a six course soup tasting menu. Guests explored how different shaped spoons affirmed their identity and also changed the soup eating experience. This dinner conjured up conversations, melded new communities together, and like soup, we evolved from individuals into a collective energy by the end of the night.

Out Now - Globally Rooted Magazine Issue 04: Seasons
There is something radical about paying attention to the seasons. Issue 04 sits with this idea of noticing.
In this issue we invite you to slow down just enough to feel the shifts in seasons. We move through shifting seasons that shape how we live, love, create, leave, return, and understand ourselves over time. We invite you to pay attention to what is coming into season in your own life, and what is gently passing.
We asked contributors to think about seasons through the lens of home, garden, food and tradition. In this issue you will find photo essays, personal essays and poetry from South Africa, Colombia, Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Portugal, India, UK, and France.
With gratitude to all the contributors featured in this issue:

I grew up in a house with a sewing machine probably older than myself. Living with grandparents my entire younger years, I was raised with the philosophy of self-reliance - making and repairing things instead of buying new ones. They taught me to sew my own garments and mend tears in my clothes. The younger me was not very happy with that situation. I wanted new dresses, I wanted new skirts, I wanted jeans that were not resized hand-me-downs. When I left for college, my grandma gave me a box of threads and needles, which I refused, finding it embarrassing to bring sewing kits to the city where you can just buy anything. I thought I was finally free to drown myself in a pile of new clothes and shoes, just like scenes from moviesBack to Sewing [Excerpt from Issue 03]

Gardening In Tune With Nature
Words & Images by Nicky Jenner |
Magazine | Issue 03
Co-creating a garden with nature is an ever-evolving relationship with the land and life with which we co-exist. It’s a conversation in which I listen and learn, follow nature’s lead, and garden in ways that create space and opportunity for life to thrive. Gardening in this way has an impact, supporting our native biodiversity right here on my doorstep and bringing moments of connection, beauty, and wonder into our lives every day.
These images capture a fleeting glimpse of just a few of the moments of inspiration and hope that our garden here in Devon, UK, brings through the wild lives it supports.
