A reminder that you can be more than one thing at once. Don’t shrink yourself to make other people more comfortable!
Try the hobby. Change your mind. Start over. Reinvent yourself as many times as you need to.
You’re allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself and create new ones whenever ya fancy babyyyy! Do all the damn things 🤪🫡💅

Endless gratitude for everyone who’s checked in, sent kind messages, or shared their own experiences 🤍 I’m so glad I’ve spoke about this after so so long - invisible illnesses & chronic diseases can be so lonely ❤️🩹
This is an extremely vulnerable post from me, but it would have been so helpful to see someone’s experience before i had this surgery myself. So this is for anyone going through the same journey

surgery went well 🏥 My doctor removed as much endometriosis as possible, he found an endometrioma (cyst) and drained it, and fitted my hormone treatment for my adenomyosis 🙏
thank you for all the well wishes & prayers💗
i didn't really know what to expect once i got out of surgery, but i did not expect to be in this much pain and have such limited movement.
It took 2 people's assistance and multiple failed attempts to even get me to the toilet.
This is the most humbling thing to go through, and i'm realising that this will be a long journey until i feel like myself again🥺😔
i need to remember to be kind to myself and patient through this💗

some of the best memories of my existence
a little update from me 🤍
i’ve been living with endometriosis and adenomyosis for a long time and i’ve finally got answers after years of not really knowing what was going on or trusting what i was being told.
i’m having surgery in a few days and i’m honestly quite nervous, but also really hopeful that it might bring some relief after such a long time of dealing with this.
i’ve never really spoken about this properly before, but it’s been a really long and difficult journey. from getting teased at school and being called dramatic for having to use a wheelchair just sometimes, to sitting my final exams in separate rooms in case i threw up, looking pregnant from inflammation, to vomiting from pain on my way to the summit of Kilimanjaro… i’ve been struggling with this in the background of my life for so long.
i’ll probably be a bit quieter while i recover just because i’m not really sure how i’ll be feeling, but i’ll come back on here when i can — and i know you guys are always so understanding about that kind of thing 💗
i’m hoping by sharing a bit more now i can also help raise awareness around these conditions because so many women (& people with wombs) go through similar things and don’t get answers for years.
and if you are going through something similar, or are diagnosed with endo or adeno, i’m always happy to chat.
it can feel really isolating sometimes and i think it helps knowing other people get it too. and we can share things that help alleviate our symptoms a little bit🤍
(watching this video back, im so flat in energy and sound so monotone but i was legit just trying not to cry the whole time, so thanks for baring with me)

the joy of coming home🫀
jamaica’s beaches are world famous. but many locals are being priced out of accessing their own coastline 🇯🇲
this is something i’ve been learning more about over the years, but have seen it first hand while being here, and honestly it opened my eyes a lot.
if you care to visit jamaica more responsibly here’s some things to keep in mind:
⭐️ stay in jamaican-owned accommodation (hotels, airbnbs, there’s even local-owned resorts too!)
⭐️ eat at local restaurants + support local businesses
⭐️ book tours with local guides
⭐️ engage with the community and culture respectfully
⭐️ keep as much tourism money within jamaican communities as possible
i also want to highlight the work being done by (Jamaica Beach Birthright Environmental Movement) who are actively fighting for better beach access rights and protections for jamaicans ✊🏾
if you want to learn more, check out this really eye-opening recent article called “The Caribbean island where locals can t access the beach”, it explains the issue in a really accessible way - only a 3minute read!📲
or you can keep informed with updates via ‘s page 🎤
take a read, have the conversations and do your own research too!
