Meet our Marion Lake

Marion Lake holds many cherished family stories spanning three generations long. Located in Watermeet, Michigan, it is the exact place where my in-laws have now retired and moved to full-time. They beautifully named their home there The Simple Life, and it serves as our family's ultimate retreat from the busy world.

It is a place known for having more mosquitoes than humanly possible. Yet, aside from the fierce insects and gigantic horseflies, there is so much to do in this beautiful slice of heaven. Between swimming, boating, fishing, and kayaking to visiting Bond Falls and the notorious Mystery Light, it really is a special escape. More importantly, some very spiritual and meaningful moments have occurred here, leaving absolutely no doubt that heaven is real.

Every winter, I used to leave the cold behind and spend a couple of weeks in Hawaii with my mom and grandparents. We always stayed at the iconic Rainbow Tower, a place that always made us feel like we were living somewhere over the rainbow.

Those winter escapes became the foundation for the most important moments of my life. It is still my mother's absolute favorite place on earth, and it is mine as well. It holds such a sacred piece of our family history that it is the exact place where I eventually spread my grandparents' ashes, forever tying our family lineage to the island breeze and the rolling Pacific waves.

Introducing Saving Tucker

Tucker is the third of our four rescue dogs and the absolute inspiration behind this scent. He is a beloved Yorkie who came to us from a challenging hoarding situation in Texas. For the first five years of his life, he was confined to a kennel, missing out on simple joys like chewing a bone, playing, or even feeling grass beneath his paws. Tucker still is terrified of loud noises, touch, and men.

Through remarkable resilience, he has learned to love his life with us, earning nicknames like buddy boy, mister mister, and the bone thief. Seeing his little tail and wiggle butt every time we come home blesses us beyond words.

Saving Tucker is a heartfelt tribute to the unbreakable bond between humans and rescue animals. Meet Miss Brooklyn, the youngest of our seven children and the true inspiration behind our destination fragrance, Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is known in our family as Brook-A-Dook, Goobers, or Baby Girl. She has the biggest and sweetest heart of any young girl I know. She is deeply passionate about caring for animals and aspires to become a veterinarian someday.

Brooklyn was heavily involved in designing her own namesake scent. She was so excited to be completely hands-on in the lab and knew exactly what she wanted her scent profile to look like. Together, we came up with a fragrance that is young and sweet just like her, delivering a clean and energetic presence that perfectly captures the crisp, vibrant mood of New York in the spring.

Formulated years ago as a personal classic, this fragrance is entirely new to the lab lineup and has not been officially released here yet.

Rocky Mountains

Meet Denver, the sixth of our seven children and the true inspiration behind our destination fragrance, Rocky Mountains.

Denver is well known in our home as Monkey Butt, D-man, or D-vers. He has an absolutely amazing sense of humor, his laugh is completely contagious, and he genuinely gives the best hugs you could ever receive. He is currently getting ready to turn 15 years old and start driving soon. Outside of school, he stays incredibly busy with his love for track, fishing, and playing soccer, proudly following in the footsteps of both of his older brothers.

Denver was incredibly excited to sit down and help create his own namesake fragrance. Formulated years ago, this scent is a classic from our archives that has stood the test of time. It is nothing new to our long-time supporters and remains a consistent top seller for us year after year.

Inspired by the great outdoors, Rocky Mountains captures the feeling of standing in the absolute center of a high-altitude wilderness.

Northern Lights

Meet Dymorie, the fifth out of seven children, though she is better known as Babycakes, Demi, Dye-more, or Demmers.

Dymorie is someone who makes her own paths in life and always speaks her mind. She is beautifully stubborn, yet she possesses the warmest heart any parent could ever hope for. She is an amazing sister to all of her siblings and cherishes her family with every piece of her heart. Today, she shares that deep warmth and dedication with our community by working as a CNA, serving as a caregiver at our local state veterans home to take care of our veterans.

When it came to designing a custom fragrance, Dymorie knew exactly what type of scent profile she wanted, and the formulation process perfectly captured her vision.

We would like to introduce Northern Lights, a fragrance inspired by the breathtaking natural phenomena of Iceland. This scent balances a vibrant, frosted sweetness with a crisp, refreshing chill, capturing the otherworldly feeling of standing under a glowing arctic sky.

This special blend has captured the hearts of our community as well, growing to become our official number two seller.

Arlington National

Meet Keagan, the fourth child out of seven, though most of us know him as Keags, Kee-gee, or Turbo.

From a very young age, Keagan has always possessed an old soul in a young body. He has overcome some terrifying health obstacles in his life and is currently over a decade in remission now. He is a truly selfless person who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Keagan was the last of the children to get his own scent because he had no idea what he wanted. However, when we finally introduced him to his custom formulation and the narrative behind his label, he fell in love and shed a few tears.

We would like to introduce Arlington National, a fragrance inspired by the ultimate sacrifice. This scent was created in loving memory of Keagan's uncle and godfather who passed away from cancer. His uncle proudly served in the United States Army with a tour of duty overseas, followed by several years in the National Guard before he was taken far too soon.

Arlington National blends notes of Grapefruit, Morning Dew, Magnolia, Smoked Birch, Cardamom, and Pepper with distinct, grounding hints of Weathered Marble, Gunmetal, and Gin.
