One Step Forward Consultancy is a registered company offering a service with a difference’ in Child Protection/ Children Services with Immigration & Consultancy incorporating UK Visa applications. I have been a qualified Social Work Practitioner for over 20 years in the United Kingdom (UK). In addition we are partnered with The Victoria Climbe Foundation to raise awareness in the safeguarding of

Children both in the UK and in the Caribbean. My Social Work and Immigration experience has been both in the UK and in the Caribbean, I have completed commissioned pieces of work from the UK of complex Child Protection and Family Assessments

OSFC offer specialized services of UK Visitor Visa, Student Visa, Spousal Settlement Visa and Access to Child Visa assistance. We ensure you that with the work generated we will be able to complete applications within timescales and to the highest standard for both Individuals and Agencies

Further, OSFC over the past 8years has successfully hosted community Family Fun and Sports days, catering to over 200 children, in keeping with its commitment to promote and build awareness of the “safeguarding of children”. In doing so we would like to work with other organisations in them attending this and future Education, Information and Fun Day’s in order to offer information and guidance to young people whom will be our future professionals, workforce and parents. In addition OSFC will be offering training to Children’s Homes, Schools, Colleges and Professional Agencies, with the aim of providing a service of Social Work Education and Training Programs for Residential Social Workers, Social Workers, Foster Carers Teachers, and any Individual or Agency involved in the protection of children. One Step Forward Consultancy (OSFC) has a training program with designed training sessions in respect of the Values and Principles that underpin our work as practitioners within this Exploring Abuse (Emotional, Physical, Neglect and Sexual Abuse), the Legal Context of our work, Record Keeping and Confidentiality and Health and Safety. As part of the sessions held attendees are to be provided with the Child Development Agency (CDA) Protocol which is to be followed Island wide.

With the official opening in June 2024 of OSFISCS, Family and Community Hub, in Moneague, St Ann, which has been particularly established to work alongside professionals in completing child and family assessments, special needs assessments and to work specifically with professionals supporting families in communities both in the towns and rural areas.

The Family and Community Hub will provide services and liaise with government agencies, schools, health services, police and those working within the communities with low-income families in the betterment of the lives of children and families.
