James ‘Jimmy Cliff’ Chambers, OM, Jamaican musician, actor, singer, songwriter, producer and humanitarian, has made his final crossing home.

His life’s work in music was a gift celebrated at home and around the globe, with seminal anthems like Many Rivers to Cross, You Can Get It If You Really Want and I Can See Clearly Now.

An important part of Jamaica’s story which has shaped generations and carried Jamaican music and influence far beyond our shores. Our sincere condolences to his family, the Reggae community at home and abroaf and all who loved him.

Walk Good, Legend.

Jamaicans across the island need our help now to survive and rebuild. One of those in need is Ms Gowdie whose family felt the full force of Melissa’s storm surge. Giving thanks they lived but they have lost everything and are now homeless. 🙏🏽🇯🇲🙏🏽
