When a student comes to watch and support and ends up replacing me on the drums!

Half way through the run of Footloose, it’s been so much fun! We’re doing a show everyday right though till Friday. Still tickets left (available from the Arts Centre website), hopefully see some familiar faces there. The new kit has been so nice to play (and to look at 😍)

Really enjoyed the opening night of ‘s First Date. Cast were great; music is fun to play; and well looked after by . Come watch this awesome little musical comedy, tickets every night through till Saturday.

Huge congratulations to Dave for his Distinction at grade 4. An amazing achievement and so well deserved. Quite a belated post as he’s well on his way to sitting his grade 5 too! Always a pleasure teaching Dave and Bea for their father/daughter drum lessons 😁

After 11 years of lessons, countless performances and tons of memories, Thomas left for the UK last month to study drums at music college. Beginning as a young, quiet boy, I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into a young adult and a serious musician. It’s a shame to no longer teach him but more importantly, a great feeling to watch him move away and take his drumming to the next level.

He’s achieved so much along the way, winning battle of the bands, getting a distinction for his grade 7, and working professionally on sound engineering jobs. I’m extremely proud of you Thomas and wish you all the very best for what’s to come. Can’t wait to catch up soon and hear all about it!

What a view!

It’s been a very long time since I last played here. Great to be back again, and a privilege to be involved in the re-opening celebrations of the Jersey Opera House with the Jersey Green Room Theatre Company.

A shame it’ll only be three shows - last one today, so grab a ticket whilst you still can. It’s real mix of performing arts: musical theatre; classical; pop; rock; ballet; comedy, all whilst celebrating the young, up and coming talent we have in Jersey.

Massive congratulations to Tilly for her Distinction at Grade 6. She never fails to impress me with her dedication, work ethic and ability on the drums. I feel very lucky to have students like this to teach! (A bit late posting - this was several months ago).

Opening night of We Will Rock You was a blast — big shoutout to the cast, crew, and creative team for bringing the energy and the magic!
