🌊 Giving Back to Our Island 🌿

This month CSC Guernsey colleagues rolled up their sleeves and joined forces with The Clean Earth Trust for a beach clean at Bell Greve Beach. What an eye-opening experience it was!

Together, we removed:
♻️ 9 kg of waste
🚬 566 cigarette butts
🍬 273 plastic food wrappers and containers
🧩 190 plastic fragments
📄 279 pieces of scrap paper
🍾 67 pieces of glass

It was a rewarding and thought-provoking event that reminded us how important it is to protect our beautiful island. The amount of rubbish we collected was shocking—but it showed how much of a difference we can make when we work together. A huge thank you to The Clean Earth Trust for organising and inspiring us.

Twenty enthusiastic CSC team members from Jersey rolled up their sleeves and dove into the “It’s a Knockout” challenge last month, all in support of the Jersey Neonatal Unit (formerly the Special Care Baby Unit) at Jersey Hospital. 👶💙

This obstacle course was part of a fantastic family fun day, with teams from across the island coming together to compete, cheer, and most importantly, raise vital funds for newborns in need of specialised care.

Last Friday, our team came together to celebrate the achievements of the first half of the year and align on priorities for what’s next. The day began with a company-wide presentation highlighting our H1 milestones and setting the stage for a strong H2. It was an inspiring reminder of all we’ve accomplished—and the exciting road ahead.🎇

In the afternoon, we swapped the boardroom for the beach, where some friendly (and spirited!) team-building activities brought out the best in everyone. We ended the day at Botona with great food, refreshing drinks, and even better company.🌊

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of the value of pausing to reflect, reconnect, and re-energize as a team. Thank you to everyone who continues to drive our success. Here’s to an even stronger second half of the year! 💪🌟

The CSC Fund Solutions Jersey team recently spent a day reviewing strategy and the year ahead, mixed in with a variety of activities in the office.

They spent the afternoon at La Mare Vineyards, where the barrel building and wine tasting were a treat! The team event ended at the Weighbridge with dinner to round off a glorious day in Jersey.

🧡 On Friday, May 30, our teams came together and wore orange in support of Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) awareness, a cause that has deep personal significance for two of our employees.

PWS is a rare and complex genetic condition that affects just 1 in 20,000 people. From infancy through adulthood, those living with PWS face lifelong challenges. These include low muscle tone and developmental delays as well as an insatiable appetite and hormonal imbalances.

By wearing orange, we stand in solidarity with the PWS community to help raise awareness for this condition. We’re proud to support efforts that bring greater understanding, research, and hope to families affected by PWS.

Today marks 80 years since the Channel Islands were liberated, and we proudly stand with our friends in Guernsey and Jersey to honor the enduring spirit and resilience that define these communities. Liberation Day is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful reminder of the strength found in unity, freedom, and remembrance.

Here’s to a day of reflection, pride, and joy for all.

🇬🇬Colleagues from our Guernsey office participated in the Everest Challenge at St Sampsons High School last weekend, one of the island’s most popular fundraising events. Students, youth organizations, and teams climbed the walls in support of a great cause.

🧗The Everest Challenge consistently raises tens of thousands of pounds each year, with all funds going toward supporting Le Murier School’s residential and independent learning program—a vital part of the students’ holistic education.

👏Thanks to the incredible support from participants and sponsors, we raised £350 within the office, which will be matched by the CSC Gives Back program.
