Today, Viberts is proud to join the Island in celebrating Liberation Day here in Jersey.
This important day (9th May) marks the freedom of our Island and is a time to reflect on the resilience, courage, and community spirit shown by those who lived through the Occupation. It’s a moment to honour our history, remember the sacrifices made, and appreciate the freedoms we enjoy today.
To celebrate, all Viberts staff are enjoying a traditional Jersey Wonder - a small but meaningful nod to our local heritage as we come together to recognise what this day represents.
Wishing everyone a happy and reflective Liberation Day.

In March 2026 the Government of Jersey published the Draft Protected Disclosure (Protection of Whistleblowers) Law 202-. Work on this legislation is at an early stage but this could represent an important development in Jersey legislation.
The proposals apply both to a wide range of organisations and may prompt employers to address the practical and operational implications of whistleblowing protection. We would encourage organisations to engage with the consultation process as this progresses.
