Rather than Christmas Cards we have made a further donation to Jersey Likoma (www.jerseylikoma.com). Structura Lending have helped seed fund the foundation since visiting Likoma, Malawi with friends and family from Grouville FC in September this year.

Since inception the Members of the Foundation have already achieved a great deal and including;

🎅 Raising 10,000,000 MKW for St Peters Anglican Church in Likoma. This is a remarkable Anglican Cathedral on a tiny island in the middle of Lake Malawi.

🎅 Supporting five students to commence secondary education in September and with two more enrolled to start in January which will be life changing for them.

🎅 Provided a Christmas gift to Bishop Biggers Secondary School of 5,000,000 MKW and which the school are using to help build a teachers house on campus.

More than two-thirds of the population of Malawi live in extreme poverty. Likoma & Malawi has so much to offer and truly lives up to the reputation of being the Warm Heart of Africa.

We are delighted to be involved and there are some exciting plans for the foundation in the new year.
