Writing your own biography isn’t an easy task. While artists abroad, my idols, were finding their path elsewhere in the world, I was here waiting. Dreaming.

Yet as I sit here writing, surrounded by my trusted friends: a squeaky keyboard, a grubby bass and my beloved guitar, Kairi; I’m drown back to when it all started. Entering my working life, I was stuck working as a waiter in worthless restaurants with limited opportunities that took up a large amount of my time. The moment came when all became too much. I quit my oppressive job, I picked up my last pay check and I waved goodbye to the man I wasn’t meant to be. Next I ate a KFC 14-piece party bucket, watched TV for a week and got my hair cut. Then the hard work started. I wanted to spend my time recording and writing songs for bands and other artists but artists in my hometown were few and far between. The door opened when a friend of a friend approached me for some musical advice. Over the next few months the word spread. I slowly found myself managing the work of a good handful of local artists that, just like me, were here waiting. These early days in my music career gave me the big push that I needed to pursue my dream. Kairi came to my rescue and helped me give shape and structure to my ideas; turning them into notes. These notes soon became sounds, these sounds soon became songs. I follow no trends. My music is my music. One day I’m a sentimental artist, another I’m a hotheaded rebel. I’d like to think I’m shaping the world with my emotions, my temperament and my ambition. Without music my world would be flat. So now I’m still sitting here with a squeaky keyboard, a grubby bass and Kairi, making my experiences, your experiences.
