L’Aeroporto Giovanni Nicelli è stato fondato nel lontano 1926, rivelandosi immediatamente come fenomeno rivoluzionario e di primaria importanza, data la collocazione strategica a poche ore di volo dalle capitali europee.
Per celebrare il suo centesimo anniversario, la società di gestione aeroportuale ha deciso di organizzare tre esposizioni al fine di ripercorrere la sua storia.
La prima di queste copre il periodo tra il 1900 e il 1940, è aperta da sabato 1 aprile a domenica 7 maggio e organizzata tra il salone dell’aerostazione e lo spazio ex stazione carburanti Esso.
È visitabile tutti i giorni dalle 10 alle 18 con ingresso gratuito.

Giovanni Nicelli, the private airport located on Venice Lido, was founded in 1926, instantly becoming a revolutionary phenomenon and strategic location to reach European capitals in just a few hours.
To celebrate its 100 Anniversary the airport management company has decided to create three exhibitions that retrace its history.
The first one, covering 1900-1940 years, is opened from Saturday April 1 to Sunday May 7 and organized between the passenger terminal and the ex Esso fuelling station. Everyday from 10 am to 6 pm, free entrance.
