The larger than life Lorenzo Ramaciotti. Unfortunately due to a light sickness he could not physically attend the Maserati design talk during the Passione Engadina. Lorenzo was my predecessor and first head of CentroStile Maserati (2008-2015). Still enjoy occasional meals with him to discuss design.
On the third photo you see the wonderful Alois Ruf with wife Estonia and their impressive daughter Aloisa. She shared the stage with the equally impressive Simona de Silvestro 🙌🫶

Selfie time ✌️🔱

Two of the most iconic cars ever designed. The Countach was the poster in my bedroom as a kid and made me pursuit the dream of becoming a car designer. The Lancia Stratos Zero changed the automotive landscape. New proportions and shapes completely disrupted the aesthetics of the late 60ies. Both cars were designed by the same man, Marcello Gandini. Not only did he create some of the most amazing cars, including Maseratis, but he helped create the respect that we enjoy as a craft today. He was not a stylist but someone who understood engineering and packaging as key enablers to create groundbreaking designs.
We were able to honor him and his work just recently during a wonderful event in Torino.
Yesterday we had to say goodbye. His legend will live on forever and push us in our work. Grazie Maestro🙏🇮🇹

The Fiat 500 electric is now launching in the US. Still puts a smile on my face thinking of that late night in the studio when we had the idea for the unique headlights 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

Designing a Maserati is a privilege and a responsibility that is hard to describe. Some of cars go into collections or even participate in future concours d’elegance to be judged by the next generation of designers. The MCXtrema is such a car.

Valentines always brings back good memories of when we designed the testing livery for Alfa F1 back in 2019. Could not resist having my 4C wrapped in it too ❤️🍀❤️🍀❤️ and even signed it 🤯🤯🤯
The livery (presented in Barcelona on 14.2.2019) was such a success with the alfisti that we ended up making a model car with it 💪💪💪

Even though we dramatically advanced the surface treatment the construction remains typical Maserati: a central fuselage emerging from the front offset with dramatic separate wheelhouse volumes. 🔱
