🌍 WEEC 2030 – Call for Bids is now open!

The Permanent Secretariat of the WEEC Network invites public and private non-profit organisations involved in environmental education to submit their bids to host the 15th World Environmental Education Congress, to be held in 2030.

Universities, associations, foundations, governmental and local bodies are welcome to express their interest in bringing the global environmental education community to their country.

📅 Application deadline: 31 October 2026
📣 The 15th WEEC will be assigned indicatively by 31 March 2027

The year 2030 will mark both the conclusion of the UN Agenda 2030 and the 15th edition of the WEEC series — a symbolic milestone for environmental education worldwide.

Despite the cancellation of the 2026 meeting in Australia due to the global geopolitical crisis, the worldwide EE community continues to move forward with strength, commitment, and vision.

From 2026 to 2028, new initiatives, partnerships, and publications are coming to keep building a global space for dialogue, research, and action on environment and sustainability.

Are you a student or an environmental education professional from a Low or Middle-Income Country (LMIC)? This is your opportunity to take part in a global event dedicated to environmental education and sustainability.
