Sharing my Easter projects
This spring I worked on three different shoots for the same client, each with a completely different brief. Three very different projects, all creative, all fun.
Project 1 was shot in my home studio. A technically demanding shoot with a lot of precision involved.
Project 2 was also in my home studio, but it was the most creative project I have ever worked on. My partner painted live while I filmed the whole process for the video. Pure magic to watch.
Project 3 took us on location, where we created a lifestyle video and images for a chocolate egg series. The goal was to capture the eggs in a natural, effortless setting.
Three briefs, three completely different creative directions.
Which project is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!

Anytime you want to increase the exposure of your images, it’s better to do it with the tone curve - especially if you are editing a bright and airy photo.
The exposure slider increases the brightness of the entire image - and makes your highlights and whites brighter - often causing overexposed areas and lost data.
Use the tone curve to increase the brightness of your image. Make a one-click click in the mid tones (the middle of the tone curve) and bring it up. This way, you protect the whites and ensure you don’t overexpose those parts and won’t lose these data.
So, the tone curve is more “gentle” and protects your whites while it nicely adds brightness to your image.
If you are learning food photography and want to improve, tomorrow, your learning experience will change - I’ve got something for you!
