Hi brothers and sisters, hope everyone of you is doing great. Stefano here.
Seems yesterday, but at the same time 10 years ago, since the last time we provided informations through this page.

And I’m here to confirm something that many of you have already realized, probably even before me; It's hard to accept, but 786 will no longer be a Record Label.

As many one of you probably understood, from 2021 to 2023 something changed, and our oiled machine has precipitously lost its functionality.
⠀
COVID slowed everything, as much as Brexit; a few days after it became really, we lost the full amount of 786MK001 copies sent to distributor causing the worst financial damage possible. We had to move 2 times after pandemic, our distributor officially closed, our pressing plant doubled prices and gave us crazy timings.

Last but not least, lot of things changed in my life, personally, work-wise, and has been impossible for me to continue managing everything without a defined organizational chart.

If you’re not into it, it’s hard to understand what means run a label alone.
I’ve managed for the whole time the 786 mail contacts, orders which I’ve packed one by one, labeled and shipped, but also managed contacts with artists, pressing plants, distributors, mastering houses, accounting, photoshoots, graphics and everything related to the label. Of course, a couple friends gave me an hand with logistics, especially with shippings, but it's not enough when your life changes completely and you have no way to do this full time and properly as before.

Has been and hard choice, we’ve been silent for nearly two years because I’ve always had a glimmer of hope that we could start releasing again, but fact is, that is impossible in these conditions. Who knows, maybe in the future, but not today.

The website will be shortly taken down, and same for the digital distribution. Still to be discussed with the roster but the idea is of creating a Bandcamp and upload the releases there as free download.

Also, some MK001 copies are left in stock, because after UPS lost the whole batch, we had to repress everything; a good batch has been unsold and probably we’ll put them available sometime in the future for a reasonable price, alongside the inventories.

For all the customers, everything has been sent during the last few years, but if you’re still waiting for your copy for some reason, please write us directly via mail and if your purchase has been made via Express Courier and not Ordinary Postmail we’ll figure out a way to track your pack.

At this point, after doing some quick math, I can easily say we’ve made it properly.
10 vinyl releases in less than 2 years, having the chance to release music from some good old friends, rising artists and true legends, who’ll forever be part of our family.

🧨 🧨🧨 786 BREAKIN' THE SILENCE WITH BREAKIN' NEWS!!! 🧨🧨🧨

After 4 months of silence, we can now reveal that:

✨ 786 Recordings is now a Registered Brand ®️, related to our new Multipurpose Company called Condensed Studio. ✨

🚩 We found the label in 2019 and after building our own space to manage it, in less than 6 months the world faced one of the hardest periods of the recent history 🦠.

📦🛄 We've been forced to move from Turin, where everything started, changing places periodically without a definite space where to estabilish a new operative station.

☔️After one year of managing the whole project in unstable conditions, with a million problems related to pressings, shippings and logistic, we found the strength to react and we decided to start again from 0. 🌅

✒️ We've found our own Company, registered our 786 Brand and found 2 operative places in two different parts of Italy. 🏭🏢

🏭 The main operational headquarters is located in Enna (Sicily Island) currently under construction and the place will be totally renovated and ready hopefully in less than 2 months.

More than 200mq for Storage and Distribution, with a Production / Mixing Studio; a specific area made for Live Streaming Sessions; an Open Space Area for our Digital Marketing Stations and for Photographic / Artistic / Graphic exhibitions.

🏢 The second Place is located in Umbria (in the Middle of Italy) where Sleaf, the master engineer and Producer of our collective D-Operation Drop, is currently finalizing a new Recording/Mixing/Production Studio and soon we'll launch new interesting services, such as Mixing and Mastering Options, Production Video Tips and Online Private Lessons. 🎚🎙🎼

Despite we had a lot of delays with the evolution of the whole process, we've got a ton of new music 🎼 ready to be released, which will be ready to showed to you once our new location will be finally can called HOME. 🏠

But we want to give you some news about:

⚔️ We've got 786X004 and 786X005 from 2 new signings; for one of them will be his first vinyl debut; these are in the works for an year now, and we can't wait to show you how great these beats are.

👹 78666002 Pre-masters are in and ready to be mastered. This one incoming from a new signing too, the master of the dusty sounds.

👤 The LTD series catalogue is growing soon:
786LTD006, 786LTD007 and 786LTD008 has been confirmed. Ruff Stuff, as usual.

🤼 786MK002 will be planned soon and freshly ready for the middle of the next year.

🤐 Plus, we'll launch a new Series, with Full Artwork and a fresh new concept, coming from some familiar faces..

Regarding the merch, new apparel is under construction, hopefully we'll be able to launch it in 2022 alongside the most awaited 786 Slipmat Series. 🧢👕
