𝐋𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐚? 𝐔𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐥 𝐝𝐢 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚
È appena cominciata la FIFA World Cup 2026 e lo sguardo del mondo è di nuovo sui grandi impianti sportivi. Nonostante la mancata partecipazione della nostra Nazionale, l’Italia vanta la presenza di alcune delle strutture d'eccellenza in questo ambito sportivo. L'Allianz Stadium a Torino, per esempio, è la prima ad essere stata costruita nel rispetto di altissimi standard.
Inaugurato nel 2011 in sostituzione del vecchio Stadio delle Alpi, l'Allianz Stadium conta circa 41.500 posti a sedere, copertura completa delle tribune e sistemi conformi agli standard UEFA. Primo stadio di proprietà privata in Italia, è stato concepito secondo il modello anglosassone del centro polifunzionale integrato e riconosciuto come il primo impianto ecocompatibile al mondo per le soluzioni adottate nella gestione energetica e nell'eliminazione delle barriere architettoniche. Nel 2012 ha ricevuto lo Stadium Innovation Trophy al Global Sports Forum.
Sul fronte della sicurezza, lo stadio è dotato di un sistema di videosorveglianza con oltre 300 telecamere, percorsi di esodo dimensionati per l'evacuazione completa in conformità normativa, rivelazione automatica antincendio diffusa, impianti sprinkler nelle aree a maggior carico di incendio: hospitality, ristorazione, spazi commerciali; rete idranti e compartimentazioni REI tra i diversi settori dell'impianto.
G*e Engineering ha contribuito alla realizzazione dell'opera assumendo responsabilità su tre ambiti distinti: il Progetto Prevenzione Incendi, il coordinamento nella Construction Safety e i servizi di Life Safety and Security.
Il cantiere dell'Allianz Stadium prende avvio nel 2009, lo stesso anno in cui G*e Engineering viene fondata a Torino. Quell'intervento ha rappresentato uno dei primi banchi di prova operativi della società, contribuendo a definire il metodo e la cultura della sicurezza integrata che ne caratterizzano ancora oggi l'attività.

𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲? 𝐀 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥
The FIFA World Cup 2026 has just kicked off, and the world's attention is once again on major sports venues. Despite Italy's absence from the competition, the country can boast some of the most outstanding facilities in this sporting arena. Allianz Stadium in Turin, for instance, was the first to be built in full compliance with the highest international standards.
Inaugurated in 2011 as a replacement for the former Stadio delle Alpi, Allianz Stadium seats approximately 41,500 spectators, features full grandstand coverage, and is equipped with UEFA-compliant systems. The first privately owned stadium in Italy, it was designed according to the Anglo-Saxon model of an integrated multipurpose centre and recognised as the world's first eco-compatible sports facility, thanks to the solutions adopted in energy management and the elimination of architectural barriers. In 2012, it received the Stadium Innovation Trophy at the Global Sports Forum.
On the safety front, the stadium is equipped with a CCTV system comprising over 300 cameras, evacuation routes dimensioned for full emergency egress in accordance with regulatory requirements, a widespread automatic fire detection system, sprinkler installations in the highest fire load areas — including hospitality, catering, and commercial spaces — as well as a hydrant network and fire-rated compartmentation between the various sectors of the facility.
G*e Engineering contributed to the project by taking on responsibility across three distinct areas: Fire Prevention Design, Construction Safety coordination, and Life Safety and Security services.
Construction of Allianz Stadium began in 2009, the same year G*e Engineering was founded in Turin. That project represented one of the company's first operational proving grounds, helping to define the methodology and culture of integrated safety that continue to characterise its work to this day.

Si è appena conclusa l'edizione 2026 del Giro d'Italia, ma per il dipartimento Event safety di G*e la stagione ciclistica non si esaurisce con la Corsa Rosa.
Il nostro impegno con RCS Sports & Events abbraccia infatti l'intero calendario ufficiale comprendendo anche le altre competizioni come: Giro d'Italia Women, Milano-Sanremo, Giro di Sicilia. La complessità di queste manifestazioni è tutt'altro che banale. La loro natura itinerante che prevede sedi di partenza e arrivo ogni volta differenti, allestimenti temporanei e affollamenti variabili da tappa a tappa, impone un approccio alla sicurezza modulare e flessibile, capace di adattarsi a contesti sempre diversi. Per questo, la composizione del pacchetto di servizi non segue uno schema fisso, ma viene definita caso per caso. A seconda delle necessità rilevate in fase di valutazione, i servizi erogabili comprendono il Piano di Gestione delle Emergenze e di Evacuazione, il Documento Unico di Valutazione dei Rischi da Interferenze per i fornitori, il Piano della Sicurezza con relativa Relazione tecnico-illustrativa per le autorità competenti e la produzione della cartellonistica di allontanamento.
Inoltre, G*e Engineering schiera un team operativo dedicato che verifica, in ogni tappa, che tutte le strutture siano realizzate in piena conformità normativa prima di ogni apertura al pubblico.
Grazie a questo impegno, G*e ha avuto l’opportunità di gestire anche le tappe italiane di competizioni internazionali come il Tour de France nel 2024 e La Vuelta nel 2025, per le quali si è occupata della redazione della documentazione di Safety & Security e della gestione delle attività della Commissione di Vigilanza.
Dal 2017, questa collaborazione con RCS Sport si è consolidata in un rapporto di fiducia reciproca e continuità tecnica che oggi conta nove anni. Ringraziamo RCS Sport per aver riposto ancora una volta la propria fiducia in G*e Engineering, scegliendo di affidarci la gestione del Safety & Security di un patrimonio sportivo di tale rilevanza nazionale e internazionale.
A certificare il valore di questo percorso condiviso è la riconferma nel 2026 dell'International Safety Award del British Safety Council per l'edizione 2025: un riconoscimento internazionale che attesta l'eccellenza di un metodo costruito nel tempo, tappa dopo tappa.

𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐨
The 2026 edition of the Giro d’Italia has just come to a close, yet for G*e’s Event Safety department the cycling season does not end with the Corsa Rosa.
Our commitment to RCS Sports & Events spans the entire official calendar, encompassing further competitions such as the Giro d’Italia Women, Milano–Sanremo, and the Giro di Sicilia. The complexity of these events is far from trivial. Their itinerant nature — with different start and finish venues at every stage, temporary installations, and crowd densities that vary from one stage to the next — demands a modular and flexible approach to safety, capable of adapting to ever-changing contexts. For this reason, the composition of the service package does not follow a fixed template, but is defined on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the needs identified during the assessment phase, the services available include the Emergency and Evacuation Management Plan, the Single Document for the Assessment of Interference Risks for contractors (DUVRI), the Safety Plan with the accompanying technical-illustrative report for the competent authorities, and the production of crowd-dispersal signage.
Furthermore, G*e Engineering deploys a dedicated operational team that verifies, at each stage, that all structures have been erected in full regulatory compliance prior to any public opening.
Thanks to this commitment, G*e Engineering has also had the opportunity to manage the Italian departure stages of international competitions such as the Tour de France in 2024 and La Vuelta in 2025, for which it handled the drafting of the Safety & Security documentation and the management of the activities of the Public Safety Commission.
Since 2017, this collaboration with RCS Sport has matured into a relationship of mutual trust and technical continuity that now spans nine years. We thank RCS Sport for once again placing their confidence in G*e Engineering, entrusting us with the Safety & Security management of a sporting heritage of such national and international significance.
Attesting to the value of this shared journey is the 2026 reconfirmation of the International Safety Award from the British Safety Council for the 2025 edition: an international recognition that certifies the excellence of a methodology built over time, stage after stage.

The Giro d'Italia has passed the halfway point of the route, and our safety & security team is still in the saddle! After Naples and Porcari (IM), stage after stage, their mission continues: ensuring the full safety of operators and the public during the setup and dismantling phases in the start and finish areas, in compliance with the drawn-up Safety Plan.

La 109° edizione del Giro d’Italia è già in corsa e anche quest’anno ha previsto la partenza dall’estero, precisamente Nessebar, Bulgaria.
I protagonisti della Corsa Rosa approdano in Calabria per affrontare oggi la prima tappa italiana: Catanzaro – Cosenza, 138 km da percorrere.
Al loro fianco e al fianco di RCS Sports & Events , organizzatore del Giro d’Italia, ci sarà il nostro Team di Event safety che, oltre a fornire un prezioso Supporto durante tutte le tappe, ha redatto:

The 109th edition of the Giro d’Italia is already underway and, once again this year, it kicked off abroad — this time from Nessebar, Bulgaria. The protagonists of the Corsa Rosa land in Calabria to tackle today’s first Italian stage: Catanzaro – Cosenza, a 138‑km route.
Alongside them, and alongside RCS Sports & Events, organiser of the Giro d’Italia, our Event safety Team will be present. In addition to providing valuable support throughout all stages, the team has prepared:
Interference Risk Assessment Document for suppliers;
Safety Plan including the technical‑illustrative report for the authorities;
Emergency and Evacuation Management Plan;
Evacuation Signage.

Durante le Olimpiadi e Paralimpiadi Milano Cortina 2026, l’Unipol Dome, nome ufficiale dell’Arena Santa Giulia di Milano, ha rappresentato il fulcro delle competizioni di hockey su ghiaccio. Con la conclusione dei giochi, è stato avviato un percorso di rifunzionalizzazione perché l’Arena possa diventare un polo della città per la musica e gli eventi.
Questa nuova fase si è aperta ufficialmente ieri, mercoledì 6 maggio, con “La prima notte – Music Opening Ceremony”, guidata da Luciano Ligabue, primo artista a esibirsi nel palazzetto.
Presenti all’evento anche il Sindaco della Città di Milano, il Presidente della Regione Lombardia e il Presidente di Unipol.
Per l’evento, il dipartimento Events Safety di G*e, che ha curato già la gestione Safety&Security del sito durante i Giochi, si è occupato:
• Piano di Gestione delle Emergenze e di Evacuazione;
• Partecipazioni a riunioni di Commissione di Vigilanza (CCV, CPV);
• DUVRI, validazione delle imprese, Piano di Sicurezza e Coordinamento in fase di progettazione ed esecuzione;
• Collaudi strutturali ed elettrici;
• Realizzazione video con le informazioni sulla sicurezza: dalle vie di esodo alle indicazioni su come comportarsi in caso di emergenza.

During the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Unipol Dome—the official name of Milan’s Arena Santa Giulia—served as the central venue for ice hockey competitions. Following the conclusion of the Games, a process of functional transformation was launched to reposition the Arena as one of the city’s key hubs for music and large-scale events.
This new phase officially opened yesterday, Wednesday, 6 May, with “La prima notte – Music Opening Ceremony”, led by Luciano Ligabue, the first artist to perform in the venue after the Olympic competitions. The event was also attended by the Mayor of Milan, the President of the Lombardy Region, and the President of Unipol.
For the occasion, the G*e Events Safety Department, which had already overseen the site’s Safety & Security operations during the Games, was responsible for:
• Emergency and Evacuation Plan — development and coordination
• Participation in Oversight Commission meetings (CCV, CPV)
• DUVRI, contractor validation, and the Safety and Coordination Plan during both design and ex*****on phases
• Structural and electrical testing
• Production of a Safety Information Video covering escape routes and behavioural guidelines in case of emergency

Il team del Club Canottieri Roggero di Lauria trionfa anche quest’anno nel “Trofeo la Rotta dei Florio”!
L’imbarcazione Sagola, oltre a posizionarsi sul gradino più alto del podio del Gruppo 1, si aggiudica anche il premio “GAE Engineering”, per essere arrivata prima al traguardo in tempo reale nella prima tappa.

The team of the Club Canottieri Roggero di Lauria triumphs once again this year in the “Trofeo La Rotta dei Florio”. The vessel Sagola, in addition to securing the top position on the podium in Group 1, also wins the “GAE Engineering” award for crossing the finish line first in real time during the opening leg of the competition.

In occasione della Giornata mondiale per la sicurezza e la salute sul lavoro, G*e Engineering vuole condividere il nuovo report dedicato alla prevenzione e all’analisi dell’impatto dei fattori psicosociali sull’esperienza lavorativa, pubblicato dall’Organizzazione Internazionale del Lavoro (𝐎𝐈𝐋). Il documento evidenzia come fattori, quali stress e carichi lavorativi eccessivi, possano incidere in modo significativo sulla salute, sulla sicurezza e sulle prestazioni delle persone nei luoghi di lavoro. Si tratta di aspetti particolarmente rilevanti e sempre attuali, che in G*e vengono considerati con attenzione e integrati nelle pratiche quotidiane e nei processi organizzativi.
OIL è l’agenzia specializzata delle Nazioni Unite sui temi del lavoro e della politica sociale. Fondata nel 1919 con il Trattato di Versailles, ad oggi conta 187 Stati membri e la sua mission principale è la promozione dei diritti umani e sociali nel lavoro, il miglioramento delle condizioni lavorative e favorire un’occupazione dignitosa per tutti.

On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, G*e Engineering wishes to share the new report published by the International Labour Organization (𝐈𝐋𝐎), dedicated to the prevention and analysis of the impact of psychosocial factors on the work experience. The document highlights how elements such as stress and excessive workloads can significantly affect the health, safety, and performance of people in the workplace. These are highly relevant and ever current issues, which G*e addresses with particular attention and integrates into its daily practices and organizational processes.
The ILO is the specialized agency of the United Nations for labour and social policy. Founded in 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles, it currently counts 187 Member States, and its core mission is to promote human and social rights at work, improve working conditions, and foster decent employment for all.

Negli ultimi anni la zona di Porta Romana di Milano ha vissuto cambiamenti profondi, come la nascita di nuovi poli culturali, un esempio la riqualifica dello scalo per la realizzazione del villaggio olimpico di Milano - Cortina 2026.
L’inizio di questa evoluzione, però ha origini più profonde, si torna indietro fino al 2008, con la riqualificazione del teatro Franco Parenti da parte dall’architetto Arch Michele De Lucchi srl, grazie all’impegno della Fondazione Pier Lombardo Teatro Franco Parenti.
Il progetto mirava alla riqualificazione edile e impiantistica, attraverso la realizzazione di spazi aperti e comunicanti organizzati secondo percorsi che favoriscono l’interazione con il pubblico.
5.400 metri quadrati sono stati ridistribuiti su tre livelli organizzando otto differenti spazi, tra cui una sala da 500 posti e due sale da 150 posti, che possono essere utilizzati simultaneamente.
Sugli aspetti connessi alla sicurezza antincendio G*e ha gestito la predisposizione e l’organizzazione delle certificazioni ai fini della richiesta del Certificato Prevenzione Incendi e per l’ottenimento dell’agibilità quale locale di pubblico spettacolo.
In fase di progettazione ed esecuzione ha guidato il coordinamento della sicurezza e fornito assistenza ai progettisti durante le fasi della progettazione ai fini di sviluppare il progetto di una sala polifunzionale inserita all’interno di un edificio di civile abitazione.

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢: 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚
In recent years, the Porta Romana district of Milan has undergone profound changes, including the emergence of new cultural hubs, such as the redevelopment of the former railway yard for the construction of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympic Village.
The origins of this evolution, however, run deeper and lead back to 2008, with the redevelopment of the Franco Parenti Theatre by architect Michele De Lucchi, made possible through the commitment of the Fondazione Pier Lombardo.
The project aimed at the architectural and systems redevelopment of the complex, through the creation of open, interconnected spaces organized along pathways designed to encourage interaction with the public.
A total of 5,400 square metres was redistributed across three levels, arranging eight distinct spaces, including a 500‑seat hall and two 150‑seat halls, which can be used simultaneously.
With regard to fire safety, G*e managed the preparation and organization of the certifications required for the application for the Fire Prevention Certificate and for obtaining the occupancy permit as a public entertainment venue.
During the design and ex*****on phases, G*e also oversaw safety coordination and provided support to the designers throughout the design process, with the aim of developing the project for a multifunctional hall located within a residential building.

Domenica 22 febbraio si è spento il braciere dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali Milano Cortina 2026. Un momento carico di emozione che ha segnato la conclusione di settimane intense, spettacolari, indimenticabili. Un’edizione destinata a rimanere nella memoria collettiva, non solo per le imprese sportive, ma per la straordinaria macchina organizzativa che ne ha reso possibile il successo.
In questo scenario di eccellenza internazionale - oltre il lavoro svolto nella fase di preparazione - G*e ha avuto l’onore e la responsabilità di contribuire in modo concreto alla sicurezza e alla gestione degli eventi che hanno accompagnato l’intera manifestazione olimpica.
Durante tutta la durata dei Giochi, G*e è stata impegnata nella gestione operativa degli eventi, assumendo un ruolo centrale e strategico:
• Coordinatore dell’Emergenza, con il compito di garantire tempestività, controllo e prontezza in ogni situazione;
• Responsabile della Sicurezza (Delegato TULPS), presidio fondamentale per assicurare il pieno rispetto delle normative e la tutela di atleti, staff, istituzioni e pubblico.
Un incarico di grande responsabilità, affrontato con professionalità, competenza e spirito di servizio. Dietro ogni evento perfettamente riuscito c’è un lavoro silenzioso fatto di pianificazione, prevenzione, coordinamento e presenza costante sul campo.
Essere parte dei Giochi che faranno storia significa aver contribuito a costruire un modello organizzativo all’altezza di un palcoscenico mondiale. Significa aver operato con rigore, visione e capacità di gestione in uno degli appuntamenti più complessi e prestigiosi a livello internazionale.
Con la chiusura del braciere si conclude un capitolo straordinario, ma resta la consapevolezza di aver preso parte a qualcosa di unico; e per G*e, questa non è solo una conclusione: è un nuovo punto di partenza (in attesa di riprendere le attività per i Giochi Paralimpici Invernali di Milano Cortina 2026 dal 6 marzo!)

Games That Will Make History
On Sunday, 22 February, the Olympic cauldron of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games was extinguished. A moment filled with emotion, marking the conclusion of intense, spectacular, and unforgettable weeks. An edition destined to remain in the collective memory—not only for the sporting achievements, but also for the extraordinary organisational framework that made its success possible.
Within this context of international excellence—beyond the work carried out during the preparation phase—G*e had the honour and responsibility of contributing concretely to the safety and management of the events that accompanied the entire Olympic programme.
Throughout the duration of the Games, G*e was engaged in the operational management of events, assuming a central and strategic role:
• Emergency Coordinator, responsible for ensuring promptness, control, and readiness in every situation;
• Safety Manager (TULPS Delegate), a key position to guarantee full compliance with regulations and the protection of athletes, staff, institutions, and the public.
A role of great responsibility, carried out with professionalism, expertise, and a strong sense of duty. Behind every flawlessly executed event lies a silent effort made of planning, prevention, coordination, and constant on site presence.
Being part of Games that will make history means having contributed to building an organisational model worthy of a global stage. It means having operated with rigour, vision, and managerial capability in one of the most complex and prestigious events on the international scene.
With the extinguishing of the cauldron, an extraordinary chapter comes to a close, yet the awareness of having taken part in something truly unique remains. And for G*e, this is not merely an ending: it is a new beginning—awaiting the resumption of activities for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games starting on 6 March.
