TorinoFilmLab runs several activities and offers various forms of support in the fields of training, development and development that run parallel during the year. They all reach their conclusive moment at the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event in November, when projects are presented to a selected group of film industry professionals from all over the world.

A hands-on workshop is aimed at two kinds of experienced producers: those looking to expand their businesses into animation production, and those who already have experience in the field but seek to deepen their knowledge and grow their international network. For all participants it is a chance to build stronger industry connections and enhance their skill set.

We have just announced the call for applications for the 8th Animation Special, taking place in Di**le, Ireland, from 16 - 21 March 2027.
This programme is designed for two profiles of experienced producers: those looking to expand into animation production, and those already active in the field who want to deepen their expertise and grow their international network.

🪐TFL Co-Production Fund 2026 | The selection!
Three grants of €50,000 will go to international co-productions currently in advanced development and aiming for completion by October 2028. The teams will also receive tailored consultancies based on their specific needs and - cherry on top - will be invited to attend our co-production market, the TFL Meeting Event, this November.

Last chance to participate in a Green Film Lab workshop in 2026. 🌿
This chance expires on Friday, 18th September! 😶🌫️
Green Film Lab promotes environmentally sustainable practices in film production and provides guidance to film professionals on how to apply a green protocol and achieve certification.
It targets professionals from the audiovisual sector (with or without a project) as well as sustainability consultants - more details in the call for applications, of course.
The upcoming workshop, from 21st to 23rd October, will be hosted in Rome!

A warm round of applause for Jacqueline Lentzou, who received the Best Director Award for A DAY IN THE LIFE OF JO: CHAPTER PHAEDRA (FeatureLab & Green Film Lab 2024).
Also, huge congrats to Tommaso Landucci and Damiano Femfert for I FIGLI DELLA SCIMMIA (Alpi Film Lab 2022), which took home the Best Screenplay Award! And speaking of awards, a big shoutout to Riccardo Scamarcio for winning Best Actor.

TFL Next - TV Series & Story Editing 2026. The selection is out! 💥
The concept-based online workshop, divided into 2 development sessions, will begin very soon, involving 31 projects in early stage and 7 story editor trainees.
