The Wooden Kiss

a tap on your forehead
and your soul withers
you're now part of the cliff

the blue fairy looks the other way
she's lost her wand
her touch means nothing no more

they lied to you
when you are a puppet
you stay a puppet

you don't get to be a real boy these days
either you fall off the cliff
or you become the cliff
