ten years since Hindustani Rascal. most of my photos from 2013-2015 disappeared in broken phones and hard drives. here are some of the few grainy ones that remain. most importantly, my friends who were there when i was writing this album. Mumbai will always remain one of my favourite cities in the world. those years were emotionally and financially terrible for me but the city and its culture inspired me in a really special way. people keep asking me to make another Hindustani Rascal but I have to be 26 and living in a one room kitchen in Vakola to do that. what i mean is as an artist everything I’ve created has been a time capsule of that moment in my life. my relationship with this album is tbh bittersweet because it gave me a career in music but it also overshadowed most of my other releases. like fr Rani had 50k streams in the last month, bro plz stop listening to it
