"Our specific vocation in the Church is to be at one and the same time Missionary, Marist, Religious"

We are an international congregation, coming from many countries of the world to participate in evangelization by “missionary presence, by living and proclaiming the Gospel, by apostolic service” (SMSM Constitutions 14). Gathered together from different backgrounds and nationalities, we respond to the call to universal mission. “In respect and dialogue, we try to be bonds of communion between peo

Today, the Community in Suva, Fiji, commemorated Ratu Sukuna Day with a heartfelt visit to the resting place of our beloved sisters. A beautiful day of prayer, remembrance, and gratitude as we honored their lives and legacy.🙏

We also spent time cleaning and caring for the gravesites before ending the day with a joyful picnic at Ratu Sukuna park.

May God bless Fiji, forever more. 🩵

In this Marian month, our Postulancy and Novitiate communities were blessed to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho, Rwanda. We entrust their vocation journey to Our Lady's loving care. May she continue to guide them closer to her Son. 🙏🏾

As He returns to the Father, He entrusts us with the mission to carry His love, hope, and peace to the world.

‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… and behold, I am with you always.’ (Matthew 28:19-20)

May the Ascension of the Lord lift our hearts toward heaven and strengthen us to live faithfully each day.

Alleluia! The Lord reigns in glory.” ✨

Mother’s Day invites us to give thanks for mothers who nurture life with compassion, strength, and faithful love. In this Marian month of May, we look to Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as the model of motherhood for the Church and the world.

At the final Mass of the recent Apostolic Journey, Pope Leo prayed before the image of Our Lady of Bisila, beloved in Equatorial Guinea and portrayed carrying the Child Jesus on her back in the traditional African style. Her name means “compassion”, a beautiful reflection of a mother’s vocation. When the first image of Our Lady of Bisila was carved, cultural elements were carefully included: traditional scarifications, bracelets, and the Child Jesus carried on Mary’s back rather than presented frontally. While customs and traditions may differ across the world, the love of a mother is universal.

As we honour mothers today, may we also look to Mary as their inspiration, a mother who trusted God completely and remained close to her Son throughout His life. May Mary, Mother of Compassion, walk with all mothers in our broken world, strengthening them with her love and interceding for all families today. 💖🌹

May 8 in France (“Fête de la Victoire”) reminds us of the precious gift of peace. As we also mark the first anniversary of the Holy Father’s ministry, we remember his first public words: “Peace be with you.” Through his constant appeals for dialogue and reconciliation, he invites the world to become a place of greater fraternity and hope. 🙏

We are also called to carry this message of peace into all the places where we are sent. The Gospel deepens this call as Jesus says to us: “Remain in my love.” Only by remaining in His love can we become instruments of compassion, healing, and unity in our communities and in our world.

May we never take peace for granted, but nurture it each day through prayer, kindness, listening, and love. 💙
