The caput mundi celebrates its founding on Saturday, April 21 at Circo Massimo with events all afternoon and evening.From 3 pm, renactments of the legendary founding of the city.
At 5, the ancient religious ritual of Palilia, and at 6 pm, an equestrian event. At 7 pm, live jazz, and at 8:30 ancient Roman songs performed by Lavinia Fiorani.

On Sunday, April 22, a parade leaves Circo Massimo at : 11:15 am, continues along Via Petrosselli to Piazza Venezia down the Via dei Fori Imperiali to the Colosseo and then down the Via di San Greogrio to the Circo Massimo.

In the afternoon various historical re-enactments of religious rituals, ancient dances and gladiator fights
Then at 5:30 pm the event winds up with a historical reconstruction of the battle that culminated in the building of Hadrian's wall.

3D visits of Rome's Baths of Caracalla The Baths of Caracalla in Rome can be now be viewed in their original splendour thanks to special 3D tours of the ancient bath complex.
