Rome in the time of Coronavirus. Some of the shots took yesterday following the total lockdown of Rome and the rest of the country. In the spring sunshine, with no one, or almost no one, Rome's splendours breathtakingly beautiful and also sad. Yes, a bit like a disaster movie before the storm maybe, the silence in Piazza Navona and at the Trevi Fountain only broken by the gurgle of the fountains. A sound usually drowned out by the murmur of scores of voices and the music of buskers competing for our attention.
