It's 2019, in Tanzania. Joseph Laurent, a biology teacher, takes part in the first SeedScience training in the country, funded by the National Geographic Society.
Joseph acquires new skills in the training and applies them with his students.
Among them, at Gwata Secondary School, there is ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ณ๐ข๐. She is curious, interested, and ๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง.

Years later, ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐ญ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ, and she brings with her something she was given in those lessons: the confidence that science is for her, and for them too.

It took years of study and plenty of determination to get here, and that part is all hers. But it began with a teacher who wanted to try something different.

Ogni osservazione raccolta con iNaturalist viene inserita in un database scientifico internazionale, un piccolo contributo alla conoscenza della biodiversitร urbana.

That wave breaking far from the beach? Itโs not breaking at random, but telling you a story.
Slower at the bottom, faster at the top: the wave can't hold its shape, and it breaks. That imbalance is basically a map, if you know how to read it.
Science starts right here, training your eyes to notice the world around you and asking why. Thatโs the heart of what we do at SeedScience. We train teachers to bring this exact approach into their classrooms. We work with them to turn everyday natural phenomena, a coastline, a shadow, a river, into hands-on experiments using simple, accessible materials.
When you teach students how to observe, you donโt just teach them scienceโฆ you give them a whole new way to see the world.

Ci sono domande che nascono ogni giorno, quasi per caso. Capita quando un ragazzo osserva come scorre l'acqua o nota come cambia la terra dopo la pioggia e prova a darsi una spiegazione.
Il talento รจ giร lรฌ, ma la scienza non si impara a memoria su una pagina: prende forma quando la puoi toccare, provare, sbagliare e riprovare. Servono, perรฒ, insegnanti capaci di accogliere e guidare quella curiositร .
Per cambiare l'educazione non basta un attimo. Serve continuitร , mese dopo mese, classe dopo classe.
