Yes, AI has got to go! We must forcibly remove it from all creative spaces (though, if it can find a way to do my laundry and wash my dishes, I might be amenable to negations for that use ONLY 🤣).
That said, I’ve seen like five authors in the last week posting about people slamming their books on this platform and review platforms and accusing them of using AI with no proof.
This is not okay and I promise, it won’t help. Witch hunts have NEVER ONCE in the history of everything been effective.
Let’s raise our voices and especially keep putting pressure on publishers and the people and corporations who have the money and power to change things, but let’s also try to be responsible and respectful when it comes to the process.
I love you all and I love your enthusiasm for real art that is only created by humans. I actually think it’s the most human thing we get to do. 🫶
