Portofino & Cinque Terre WITHOUT A CAR guide👇🏻 📌SAVE this video for your Italian Summer Trip🇮🇹 The closest airport is Pisa, let’s assume you’ll be travelling from there, like we did! 🚂 Train from Pisa Centrale to Riomaggiore (around 1,5 hours) price depends on the season, usually from 10-20€ per person. 🚂 Cinque Terre to Portofino: We took the train from Riomaggiore to Santa Margherita Ligure (you’ll have to change the train at Sestri Levante) around 1h 30 minutes ride, price 9-13€ per person. From Santa Margherita Ligure Train Station take the bus number 782 to Portofino, 15-20 minutes ride, 5€ per person. ✨Things to do in Cinque Terre: • Riomaggiore: We stayed in this particular village “Il Mare in Casa” can totally recommend. • Manarola: Book Restaurant Nessun Dorma with the best view of the cliff side! • Corniglia: the only village without direct access to the sea, it’s my least favorite, you’ll have to climb 382 steps to reach the village center. • Vernazza: Book Restaurant La Torre with the best view of the village from the top! • Monterosso al Mare: the only one with proper sandy beaches, totally recommend to stay here as well especially if you’re travelling with children. ‼️Get Cinque Terre Travel Card for unlimited train rides between the villages, 5-10 minutes ride from one village to another or pay on the spot, 5€ per person one way ticket. ✨Things to do in Portofino: • Baia Cannone Beach, go early for the best experience! • Dolce & Gabbana Caffe Excelsior, bar with D&G chinaware and amazing view of the harbour! • Castello Brown, the best view of Portofino! • Lunch at La Terrazza at Belmond Splendido or just come around for a few drinks at Terrazza Bar, both very luxurious! • Paraggi Beach, luxurious beach with D&G and Dior Beach Clubs (15 minutes walk from Portofino)!
