Our students had the chance to go behind the scenes at Gelateria Fassi, one of Rome’s historic gelaterias, for a special extracurricular experience!
From discovering the secrets of traditional Italian gelato to getting hands-on and making it themselves, it was a delicious mix of learning, teamwork and Italian culture. 👩🍳👨🍳🍨

A day trip to Santa Severa! 🌊☀️
Our students took a break from the classroom and headed to the beautiful coast of Santa Severa for a day of sun, sea, and good vibes! 🏖️ From relaxing on the beach and swimming in the crystal-clear water to sharing laughs and making new memories together, it was the perfect way to enjoy a taste of the Italian summer. 🇮🇹✨

I’m from Colorado, though I grew up in New Hampshire. I recently graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Communication Studies. 🌄
Just last year, I was a student in CIEE’s Summer in Rome program. Coming back to work for CIEE was an easy decision, as I have this institute to thank for the lifelong connections and memories I made during my own study abroad experience. 🇮🇹🛵🍝
