School should not be a luxury.
Particularly in areas affected by conflict, climate change, and economic crisis, families rely on their children’s income just to survive. But beyond the definitions of child labor, an incalculable number of children are being trafficked in mines, in homes, in armed groups, on the streets, and online.
Talitha K*m means "Little girl, I say to you, arise." On this World Day Against Child Labor, we invite everyone to rise up with courage and hope, to stand with every child and to speak up for a world free of exploitation and injustice.
