The Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman circus, located in the valley between the Palatine and Aventine hills. The Circus Maximus appears today as a large green area where the Romans train or walking the dogs, but in ancient times it was used only in sports and athletic competitions of various kinds, becoming famous for chariot races. At times of peak times could accommodate up to 300,000 people. Today, the Circo Massimo is still one of the greatest sports ever built, home to exhibitions, concerts and shows large and global significance, which saw the participation of leading international artists.
