Yesterday, we celebrated a very special milestone as our Kindergarten students proudly moved up to First Grade! Through songs, performances, and heartfelt words, our youngest learners showcased their growth, confidence, and joy.

The ceremony was made even more meaningful as our Grade 5 students accompanied the graduates, symbolizing the journey ahead and the strong bonds that unite our school community.

The annual Zambia Tournament brought excitement, energy, and purpose to our Elementary School, as students from Grades 2–5 competed in support of the Abana Project.

Since May 29th, our young athletes have given their all in thrilling Handball and Soccer tournaments, showcasing not only their skills and determination but also exceptional teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Every match was filled with enthusiasm, encouragement, and unforgettable moments.

Yesterday, alumni, students, parents, teachers, and staff came together for a heartfelt farewell celebration for Ms. Mingazzini as she prepares to begin her new role as Head of School at Istituto Marymount, our sister school.

Filled with gratitude, laughter, and treasured memories, the gathering celebrated the lasting impact Ms. Mingazzini has had on generations of students, families, and colleagues. Touching tributes were shared by friends, colleagues, and Board Member Mr. Caltagirone, before Ms. Gallagher closed the evening with words of thanks and heartfelt wishes for the future.

While we will miss her greatly, we are proud to see her continue her journey within the Marymount family and wish her every happiness and success in this exciting new chapter. 💙

On Friday, we celebrated our Grade 8 students as they officially moved up to Grade 9, marking the end of their Middle School journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Students shared reflections on their Middle School years, while prayers in multiple languages highlighted the diversity and unity of our community. In her closing remarks, Ms. Gallagher encouraged students to embrace the challenges ahead with courage, drawing on the phrase Hic Sunt Leones — “Here Be Lions” — as an invitation to step confidently into the unknown.

✨ A Wonderful Week of Learning in Action! ✨

Last week, our Elementary School After-School Activities Open Week welcomed parents into classrooms and activity spaces across campus to experience firsthand the learning taking place beyond the school day.

From sports and performing arts to languages, STEM, and creative pursuits, parents had the opportunity to see the skills, confidence, and enthusiasm our students have been developing throughout the year!

Our Grade 4 students took us on an unforgettable journey 'Around the World Through Song and Dance!' Through music, movement, and cultural celebrations, they transported us to New Zealand, China, the Middle East, Italy, Chile, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Great Britain, the United States of America, and Nigeria. 🌎

Each performance highlighted the unique traditions and spirit of these regions and countries, showcasing the curiosity, creativity, and global-mindedness of our students. What a wonderful reminder that, while we come from different places, music and dance bring us together. ❤️
