OUR HISTORY
Edif was founded in 1987 as a firm primarily dealing with the development of custom projects for the industrial automation industry. The collaboration with various universities, such as the Università La Sapienza of Rome, Università Federico II of Napoli has proven its excellence in various engineering fields. During these early years it became clear that the manufactured production of automated instruments indicates a path for future development.
As the firms’ horizons expanded Edif turned to other applications. Since 1993, in addition to its other commitments, the firm has been heavily involved in the production of automatic analyzers.
Throughout the years, Edif products have been destined for various levels of laboratory use and multiple applications (e.g. chemical chemistry, turbidimetry, immunology, electrophoresis).
Today, the company has focused its efforts to target the clinical chemistry market, growing organically into one of the most important Italian manufacturers.
